SC Upstate March RX7 meet
#101
no longer than 3 hours...no more than 200 miles...I can do that...i'm assuming no more than 2 hours from the time we leave big daddy's to the time we return...kinda hurts us on "new roads"...since we have to drive a while to get to the mountains...but i'll figure something out....
as for my car...it sits...waiting...transmission is in greenwood, apart! my order for the parts i needed didn't get processed so now i'm waiting on them! re-ordered today and one of them is on bak order til wednesday! grr..hopefully i can have them by this weekend. i stil need to pull my chip out and send it to charlotte to get re-burned, so a little "waiting game" on that as well..i'm pulling it out tonight after Taekwondo...other than those things, i just need a better place to swap them out, i have all that i need (that i can think of!!!) If i can find somewhere, its at most a full day's work (thats with minor set backs and goofying off!!!)
anyway, we shall see how it goes...maybe the meet will be my "break in" period and i'll be trying for a 500 mi drive (and oil change afterwards!)

well I was thinking like 3 hours in the mountains not counting the drive there just so we can be back before dark so nobody gets lost or anything bad happen knock on wood. ON a different note this morning I got up to go to work go outside to start the FD and nothing it cracnk but no fire so I drove Lisas car to work got home toninght the damn thing was so fluded its wasnt even funny had to deflud twice for like 30 seconds at a time thats the first time I have ever flooded a rotary that was a panic experiance since this morning I didnt think that it could have flooded so all day at work I was trying to think what could have gone wrong but its fixed now and runs better than it did so its all good there.

glad to hear that the FD is back to working properly...and she does look better being a solid color now
as for 3 hours in the mountains, I will make it a point to time the route i suggested previously in the forum and see how it measures up, i'm thinking it might be about 2 hours...but i'll find out for sure...and i know it wil be a nice run...i'll also make sure it has a few places for all of us to pull over and get pix and stretch our legs...have no worries, i'll take care of it

im located in Easley. its like 5-10 minutes from Greenville. Dregg100 is located in Greenville. there is a meet every month that fluctuates between the upstate (this month on March 3rd), Columbia, and Charleston. various others are located pretty close here in the upstate.
