Savannah RX-7 Club

Hello everyone.... not new to RX-7's I just purchased my second RX-7. Sold my last one in 2000. Its an '89 Convertible, non-turbo with around 113,000 miles. Just looking at hooking up with some fella rotorheads, to see what they think I might want to do first. I'm in the process of the 60,000 tune-up, and working on the exhaust mani-gasket. Need to order a few nick-nack things for the interior. This is officially my "project car", so help me make it a good one! I'm located on the southside of Savannah, off of US-17

don't let darth fool ya, he is a rotary jedi knight!!! just ask francisco...
FJDRX7- we need one of your famous renditions of darthrotary!!!
btw i met a guy that works at the mazda dealership, and he has a gslse... he has had it for a long time and hasn't run it in several years.. so he will be trying to get it back on the road again very soon... so if you happen to see a redish colored first gen. on a set of old school borbet wheels, that would be him..

GOOD Morning Javier are you gping to be at your house today? If yes I drop buy with some ? my RB carb manifold does not have enough clearence for the turbo with the stock turbo manifold or the after market. How can we solve this ,do I need a diffrent intake manifold?

Jorgeoskar- i have seen where some folks add an additional flange to the exhaust mainfold, even up to two flanges just to make enough clearance... g/l

darth- i took my boy too see the new star wars movie... we enjoyed it very much!!

Jorgeoskar- i saw it on someone elses install, somewhere along the line.. it could have even been an install that rx7store did... i'm not really sure... but you will need a gasket between each flange, and longer exhaust studs... g/l and let us know how it turns out...

I really need to do this mount for the REW, the FC engine mount locations are not in a good location for this. Its a very tight fit on everything.

Still in Australia, but would love to make it. Here for another week then heading home. Might be there a while seeing as Hurricane IKE suspended all the work I had Lined out in the Gulf region.
As for the rotary report from downunder, only 1. A mint condition TII red, was late at night and couldnt snap of any pics, hard enough driving on the wrong side of the car and the road, lol! And all the 3 rotor shaft manufactures are on the east coast, so not able to go check out the deals. Sorry guys, next trip will be in about a year so... maybe then.
Till then, G'day mates!
