hey guys im new in the whole GA area. ive been stationed up here in augusta and i cant complain much cuz i bought my 88 gxl up here. but i was wondering what kind of work you guys in savannah do? i dont want to read all the pages cuz i dont have much time and patience....lol. but while im up here i want to get to know some other rx7 owners and get some advice....

well last weekend, rotarywall and i finished dismantling another one of his cars... i think the plan is for him to work on darthrotarys car this week and then he is going to start working on the car that i am loaning him as a project... i know that sounds weird, but there are some extinuating sercomstances involved in that.... i on the other hand am going to take my gsl over to my friend in hardeeville,sc and cut out the bad quarter panal and weld in the new (used) one.... i have rotarywall to thank for the quarter panel that he donated to my project...
javier- rotarywall has the lower aft valence that you needed for your project at his new house... just give him a shout out and get directions to his place... it is just around the corner from you...

Hope you all enjoy the hunting with family and friends. GOt my engine in last weekend and hought would have the car ready for the next meet but ran into another pickle. The rear end I bougth a while bak to replace mine was for a GSL and not the SE I needed. So now I got to hunt for an SE 3rd member. Here are some pics.

on a side note, i think i trashed my engine yesterday... yep a retainer from the jets on the front down draft carb may have been sucked into the intake while driving down the road... i don't know how it came out because it is crushed into place at weber, but none the less it did... after i finish the quarter panel replacement, i will tow the car back from hardeeville, sc and do a compression check to determine if i need to try and save this mottor or just replace it with another 12a...

 

Like I told you yesterday - drive it back down, and see what it does (you don't need a tow). If it is already trashed, you can't really do anymore damage to it, plus it won't leave you stranded. You have another 12A sitting here. Don't worry about it - just come get it. And pick up my stuff also....

hello guys!!! anything new on Savannah?

 

I received my OEM Side Skirts that Im gonna fit to my convertible I also have the last new factory front clip also that the turbo came with. After I get the rest of my 101 things to do list done, they will go on the VERT. I think i will try to get a pic of them before I put them on to see what they look like. I also picked up some MAZDASPEED springs and strut bar for the TII. Carlos I will get ahold of you i have the rear skirt if you want it still also I'm gonna buy a SE housing I will bring the 2 over when i get the new one and if you could help me port it. Still looking for S5 rotors and counterweights. I already received a letter from the association where i live (Broke a few rules didn't even live there a month when i got the letter) LOL LOL LOL.
