Replacing all of the vacuum lines will be my next move. I am sure they are long overdue. Where is the phillips head screw you are referring to? Are you talking about the Air Adjust Screw which is located in the throttle body, or the primary throttle body adjustment screw? If so, I've tried to adjust both, but they don't take the idle anywhere near where it needs to be.
Also, when the PowerFC is going through the learning phase the idle will drop down to where it should be, around 1K. While the ECU learns to idle it bounces from 1K to 1.5K. Once the learning phase is over the idle sticks at 2K.

Question. Im coming home form deployment in a few weeks and its been about 9 months since I've seen my FC. My buddies wife has been " starting it up " every now and then in the meantime. Last I heard from him nothing has happened, but I cant gurantee she's been living up to her word. Just to be on the safe side, what are some things I should be on the lookout for ? So far I know lines, leaks, wheels, brakes, undercarriage, starting issues. Any help would be great.

Got the motor in the T II tonight! Will post some pics soon... still need to get an adaptor to fit the new turbo to the intake and find a windows system old enough to support a palm pilot for my Rtek7 ecu.

so was changing the oil in the fc and it it was brownish red and smelled bad of fuel lol. Im pretty sure my motor is junk tho. took the fill cap off and looks like dried/rusted oil caked all the way down.

Sounds like it must have sat for quite a while. The N/A engines are pretty resilient. It will probably be fine after a couple of oil changes. **** my 86 just sits most of the time but fires right up when I need her to, and shes got about 260,000 miles on the original motor.

Looking Good Myles....
For the FD with the Idle issue, I'm pretty curtain that you have a vacuum leak. Be careful replacing the old lines because all the solenoids will be brittle and will break easily. The best thing to use is a heat gun on the old vacuum line to loosen them up.
