Hey all, just letting yall know that I sold the RX7 to a local guy at Hunter. Angel will probably post on here if he hasn't already. He said he has met Naga through an aquaintence.

I leave for Afghanistan, but will be looking for an FD roller to cut up (cage, tub, etc) so I can race it. I didn't want to do that to my car. See yall at the end of next year!!!

Lol. Appreciate it anyways.

Show Off - Sucks to hear that you sold the FD. It was really clean. Good luck out here in Afghanistan. I have a few more weeks until I return back home.

Hey guys, putting together a FD track car, so we're looking for these items, preferably in VR, but condition is more important, as we'll just paint over it:

All for the left-side (driver's):

1) stock front fender;
2) headlight cover;
3) gas cover/lid;
4) rear quater panel;
5) bumper

I also have a SR Motorsports SMIC w/duct for trade as well.

Thanks,
:-) neil

So I've played around with my PowerFC for about a week now, and I can't seem to get the idle below 2K. I've bought the tuning notes on yahoo, and I've tried my best to adjust the idle. I think I understand all components which effect the idle and I am adjusting them properly. The adjustments I make only seem to vary the idle by about 500 rpm, 2K being the lowest. From what I've read on the internet I've come to the conclusion that I must have a vacuum leak in the lower intake manifold. I bet there is numerous vacuum leaks because most of the system is pretty stock.

Anyone with more experience have any input?

I guess I would start at looking at all your vacuum hoses and check for leaks. To me that's what it sounds like.

Have you tried adjusting your TPS? Take off your UIM and look around for any hoses that are unplugged.

If your gonna start searching for vaccum leaks, maybe that would be a good time to start replacing some of them, just my 2 cents. I know there's a little phillips head screw by the passenger strut tower that might help. Helped me with my FC.

Yes I've adjusted the TPS. Voltage reading are showing correct in commander.

Replacing all of the vacuum lines will be my next move. I am sure they are long overdue. Where is the phillips head screw you are referring to? Are you talking about the Air Adjust Screw which is located in the throttle body, or the primary throttle body adjustment screw? If so, I've tried to adjust both, but they don't take the idle anywhere near where it needs to be.

Also, when the PowerFC is going through the learning phase the idle will drop down to where it should be, around 1K. While the ECU learns to idle it bounces from 1K to 1.5K. Once the learning phase is over the idle sticks at 2K.
