I dont think it is authentic, I looked at his other for sale items and he has them for alot of other car models, but I just want something to hang in my garage in Indiana that looks nice.

They do have black ones..Id send him a message over Ebay and he will most likely do one custom for ya! I should be getting it in soon and Ill take some pics and let you know how it is.

Edit- I seen in your album you had a 99 spec bumper on your Rx7..do you still happen to have that bumper?

Yes I have the bumper Dan when I first got the car it had a CWest kit on it. Horrible job. I loved the stock body especially the 99+ look so I got the bumper and spoiler

Did some work on Moes 7 today.

What we accomplished.

-Front Rebar on
-Dual oil coolers installed
-Installed hood
-Installed fenders
-tucked some interior wires
-tighted a shot ton of bolts that were loose
-set steering wheel to correct place
-cleaned up interior a bit but need a shop vac (get on that **** moe )


pretty sure his turbos are blown......cars smoking like a chevy, engine sounds strong though.

 

Also need a radiator. And we did more than that but found out that the neighbors don't like the sound of a rotary starting up at 1230 at night with no exhaust on.... Oooops

 

Yeah we did alot more just didnt put it. Lets work on getting your radiator out and repairing it. That wont take but a hour and a car drive.

Rx7 is running on 1 rotor now. What could be the cause of this?

 

Update I just pulled one plug and there is black sludge looking **** on it. Im assuming carbo... Is this bad?

 

You need to verify that its running on 1 rotor, im sure someone around here has a makeshift compression tester you could borrow..

It could just be somethings wrong with the motor/turbos, you NEED to start by doing a compression test to see if you have low compression on a rotor and then troubleshoot/rebuild from there. It could be a couple vacuum lines that are disconnected.

Ill head over this weekend and take a look at it for ya. Just dont **** the neighbors off to bad with your revving.

 

Lol. Mark has a compression tester for a piston engine but he said you should just be able to hear while you crank with spark plugs out and fuel pump relay out. Should be a kind of hiss I believe he said if I remember right.

 

MOE needs a windshield, anyone know of one for sale local?

 

I found one for 130..... also thanks mark for letting use those gauges. Hope I can figure out how to wire them in. What time will everyone be at carlos' Tom?
