Anyone have a spare fd clutch assembly or know where I can get one cheaper than the dealer... cost 300 for that crap. Also need the brake pedal assembly... ugh I want to take her for a drive

 

leave it to USPS to **** up my order of one damn door handle. Cant even deliver a single package without ******* it up. Now I have no door handle and there is not even a number for the glennville post office to where i "think" the package is, and on top of that im not even going to be able to take delivery of the FD because ill be playing army all day which also means i wont be able to pick up the package and those bastards will probably ship it back to sender. fml

Im up in the air right now, Im so tired of getting burned on Rx7's that I might just get out of the 7 game. Been dealing with 7's since 05 and they have caused me nothing but a hole in my wallet. But god damnit I love them and will never leave! Bwa hah hah.

Im going to send this Rx7 off to Charlie and put a brand spanking new turbo kit on her if my deal on this 20b falls threw which they always do.

MoePwr, do you have the gas door lock still on your spare car? I need the locking mechanism for the gas door. It is held on by a bolt.

Also, big thanks to Javier (Carlos) and Michael for all your help!! We took the motor out and put a new oil pan gasket, 6 puck sprung clutch, ac compressor, redid the wiring harness, cleaned the subframe, and completely went through the turbo, manifold, and gaskets. A day and a half of work...she runs great!

 

I'll check tomorrow man. And the other fd is dark blue he's my friend

I'm puttin my front end in tomorrow (engine, transmission, axles and all. Speaking of which is there anyone who knows anyone who can bend pipes cause my downpipe and mid pipe is gone. I do have a muffler though. I need 4" I think it is from the header all the way back

Hey man wish I had a ride to come up there and help you, ive been working on peoples cars in the parking lot which has motivated me to get some work done on my own Rx7.

I sold my buddy my old mustang when I got back from Iraq and he wrecked it and tore the front end off, its been sitting in the parking lot for 5 months and a new guy in my plt offered to buy it from him for 650$ for it, he accepted and I gave him a list of all the parts that needed to be replaced, after he got it in we started work at like 1700 and a few cases of beer later the car was running just great. Although while I was putting the new front bumper on my hand got cut up pretty bad from a stubburn screw in the way.

 

It's all good. I need to find an exhaust shop to make shift a down pipe and mid pipe. Car should be running this weekend

 

I think I just got extended. Looks like ill be in Savannah for a bit longer than expected.
