A 4g36 in a 7? That would be strange!

It would be interesting to see the swap on a mech level but to put a piston engine in a Rx that is weird. So we can call it a Px after that right! J/k lol

If it can be done it would be cool to look at. Just one quick question why not take all the swap money and build a 13b that would out run any 4g36?

That, my friend, is a bold statement. I have seen and built many 4G63's, and they all have 1 thing in common...high horsepower (over 600 awhp) ones don't last too long!!

the same can be said about a rotory engine..

the 4g has been around for a LOOOOOONG time, iron block.... mine is all forged internals, basically no penny was spared in the motor build.. thats why im selling my 7 i dont need more than one 2 door hatch. 97 talon>87 rx7

The amount you spent on just the internals was probably more than a solid built 13b short block.

Cool, I would like to see it.

I can tell you from personal knowledge on my 91 Talon (6 bolt) 4G63 and from 2 friends different Evos that were both 660+ awhp equates to 10.5 1/4 mile times. I am talking full cage cars, stroked 2.3Ls, GT42 & GT45 turbos, meth injection, stripped interiors, 3.5 bars of boost. ($40-60K) in both of those cars. Hell, my buddy Shawn's car puked a Shep tranny! They are extremely fast cars. 4G63 is a good motor, but no match for a rotary of equal or lesser investment!

Take it from a guy that has dumped some big money into multiple turbo cars, a 13b is way easier to make fast...I promise! I have no doubt I can crack 10's in my car with a little bit more work to upgrade to a 3bar.

I think you should build whatever car makes you happy. We all eventually get sick of what we have and move on to something else! A V10 Viper will be in my future...if I can talk the wife into it!

Once again, I would love to see it, and if you need any help just ask.

word

im looking at 550 at the wheels after a tune

gt40 turbo, 1650cc injectors "e85", its already a 2.4, and everything is forged, just need to tune it

im just tired of rwd for now.. im not getting out the rotory game 100% just looking in other directions

i might end up buying a s5 and having javiar do a half bridge port and some minor fuel upgrades then just cruise around ya know

also i plan on busting a transfer case and eating 4th gear alive lol

that looks like a incomplete 6 port turbo swap. just from the pics the only thing that is hooked up is the turbo. have you seen it? how are the oil lines run and hooked up. are you going to keep it turbo? if so I will help you if you need it.

so here is my problem car off goes in gear car on does not no pressure on pedal went out gradually and was able to pump to get into gear when it finnaly crapped out all components from master cylinder to slave cylinder on top of transmission no leaks removed rubber cover no leaks at all bled system everything good i can see the slave cylinder fully engaging and disengaging as pedal is depressed but no pressure on pedal and wont go in gear unlessed forced was able to shift for a while by double pumping but nothing now pulled tranny removed pressure plate looks good from what i can tell and the disk looks a little worn out now the only compenet here that has nevr been replaced is the master cylinder but if the slave cylinder fully engages it cant be bad right .but not sure what the problem could be had a issue simmilar to this before and it was the clutch what do yall think please do not dirrect me to search the threads because i have and im still unsure i did then went to auto zone and orders a kit for the 82 12a but the diameter was smaller than mine so im sure what i had in there was from a 83 to 85 but what really threw me off because the kit should be interchangable was the fact that the pressure plate did not have holes for the guide pins in my flywheel to munt up it was as if the company that made it forgot to drill the holes out what should i do embarresed to ask for help but my ride has been down for 3 mths now and that more embarissing done everything on this car and to not be able to figure somthing as simple as this out really messes with my ego

Dude is the master slave. my sons car did the same crap about 3 months ago. i change the slave on the tranny and it worked for about a day. Then i looked at the clutch and it looked fine but i was loosing break pedal pressure just like yours i finaly chaged the master slave, not a rebuild kit just a brand new cluch master and it worked. Good luck
