Glad to see they are opening up the track side of Hutchinson! Been down to do the SCCA in the paddock area before! Looks like you had some good runs and glad people were nice enough to get out of the way of that beast LOL!

Hey gents, I will be moving to Ft. Stewart in March/April of next year. My name is Mark. We are looking to rent a home in the Richmond Hill - Savannah area. Currently at Ft. Benning doing some schools, but can't wait t get to Savannah.

Just curious if anyone can give me info on dynos or reputable mechanics in the area. I generally work on my own stuff, but sometimes I don't have the time or skillset (like tuning). Steve Kan has tuned my car twice, but it needs tuned again due to a fuel pump failure on the dyno in Atlanta. Hopefully I can get him to tune it sometime this fall when he comes back into Atlanta.

If anyone has any recommendations on areas to live that would be appreciated.
Mark

Welcome to Mazdaspeed Dan and Showoff!
Glad to have more rotorheads in the savannah area.
Showoff - As mechanics go, this is the place to be. Holla at Javier on here as far as rebuilds and tuning questions. We all go to Carter Racing for dyno needs. Javier is friends with them.
Everyone is is quite knowledgable and can be bribed with beer for other help.

If you get on elpasoracing.com the rotary guys chat on there sometimes. Julio is kind of the local ring leader who organizes stuff. He has an FB with a big single. Ricky has a half bridge carb'd RX4, and there are a few single turbo FDs. Powered by Del is about the only rotary builder worth a crap around there. Very helpful group of guys down there.

Nothing as far as regular meets, alot of the guys are in the military and sometimes deployed. I moved to Va. and come back down every once in a while. Normally if you want to hang out, just holla, its normally happens. Also, keep an eye out on here. If anyone has something going on, we normally pile over there for the pow wow

Frisco! Your moving in the wrong direction brotha! Thought the goal was further east, not west lol!

I am currently stationed at Stewart. So Far Im the Only FD here on post. Thanks for the welcome guys! Anyone here a good AC guy? Fans blew when I bought her and now it wont even blow. I lose like 10 pounds of sweat when I drive to the gas station in the Georgia heat!!

Mark, we have a place here on post where you can take your cars an they have all the tools you could ever imagine. 2.50$ a hour and a class.

Also anyone know of any shops that deal with rotarys on a regular/semi regular basis?

This rotor head just recently moved to the Savannah area and wanted to say hello to you all!! I've been on and off the rx7club forums and am going to try to stay active. I have an 88 GTU that I bought about 7 years ago. Currently getting ready to do a serious overhaul on her so she'll be out for a while unfortunately. I look forward to getting to know you guys!!
