ken is the one with the red FC that was with me. i didnt get very much response on the piedmont thing so i gues we'll just have to wait a lil while for that. im also working unexpectedly late that night so, if anyone wants to go ken will probably go if some people will go with him. jeez, it was so great to be will all of you, i've definently made some new friends, lol, was back at steves this mornin to take a ride in the T2 and check out a possible new FC for me. ken also made a trip to pick up a S4 turbo that we're gonna start to mock up on my Gxl's 6-port tomorow most likely. steve, if you check this, you should come out n check out my um.. i guess they're cars tomorow. i've got to go to work at 5 but we'll prolly be out here messin around with em most of the day and i could really use some of your past experiences over this way. call the house if you wanna do somethin or try kens cell- i'll PM it too ya. ayt guys- im out.

Directions to VIR:
(I live in Durham, so I get to NC 86 via I-85 at Hillsborough)
NC 86 northbound to 119 N
(pretty sharp right-hand exit ramp right at the top of the hill)
119 N to 57 N
Right onto Race Track Road, or the first road you see with VIR Club signs
"Entertaining" stretch of road, but don't get carried away because there are trees, ditches, and drop-off's which are all perilous. Save the "fun" driving for on the track where you have run-off and a safety crew.

well when i do i try to play it "safe" (ie not a busy road, no people, etc). still not a good idea, but i try to limit the stupid factor.
It is just to drive my 7 for 2 hours just to go down the strip a couple of times. we need a track in RALEIGH damnit. not that any of us can do anything about it.
just a side note though. if your race is so close that a human eye can't call it. it is a tie.
or are you trying to say "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile...winning is winning" hehe.
JKM whats the status on the dent?

steve- ken was wonderin if you'd sell him the red car's front bumper. he said he'd give you his and some money and has been reminding me to ask you. he said that b4 he started obsessing over his 6 port turbo idea's so i dunno if it still stands. give him a few weeks- i bet that car will be at a meet with boost. who knows? - maybe the one comin up.

Jerry Strickland was kind enough to give me the parts I needed to repair my car for next to nothing and he helped take them off the car. He may have some parts still in his inventory. Next time I'm over his way I'll sure check it out. I assume you'd rather have a white bumper?

jerry has a small fenced in area behind his shop which holds a ton of body parts. i dont remember if there were any FC bumpers but i do remember a full set of FD's. there were about 50 fenders in the back, a few were red- JKM, along with other multiple pieces. you should try to talk with him. the only FC he has he is tryin to get rid of and its a 91 GXL which is black. the fenders have a few dings in em. i dont remember too much about the bumper except that its black. JKM- i've got a friend in durham with an AE edition with a very strait body. its white ofcourse but no dents or dings that i've seen. everything on it does need to be cleaned though. dont ask to buy the car- the body is about the only thing left.
