Deals Gap
hey guys it looks like the deal is in for Deal's Gap. I was wondering if anyone wanted to go in on some cabins. I think the biggest one is 3 bedrooms which can be had for ~135(about $45 a person). I just thought it might be nicer for the RRDI members to have some cabins versus rooms probably better for hanging out and what have you.
I will probably want to stay Friday and Saturday; leaving on Sunday. I know I heard some of the guys at the last meet talking about staying over Sunday night too.
Of course I think that you can get a regular room for $38 with two twin beds.
If anyone is interested in the cabins let me know.

Well guys I got the exhaust fixed. It only cost me $40 at Henry's Muffler but he had to cut out most of the right tail piping. He saved the resonator and fabricated new piping to fit into the bent inlet of the muffler. It pretty much looks the same and pull just as hard, except the tip of the muffler is bent a bit and looks slightly elliptical. I may try to hit it with a rubber mallet to see if I can get it back into shape a little bit more.

Does anyone have a stock working radio and equilizer for an 85 that they would sell me? The radio in my GS works, except for the tape player and I want to put one in that works completely.

Josh,
I think the engine goes on the inside of the car! That is a big *** turbo, are you polishing the housing? Thats what Im doing. I ported my water pump impeller yesterday I used my burr and smoothed out the rough casting. I know its a waste of time but I don't have my car here to sit in .

I am actually going to powdercoat the housing too. I have half my engine sanded and ready for powdercoating. I just need to get off my *** and do it now that I have everything prepped.
I kinda like the engine on the stand. It is easier to work on than in the car.

Are we going to be able to get long sleeve shirts too?

Josh is trying a new concept in rotary power. He is installing a rotary turbo with engine assist. That way the engine will last longer. Way to go Josh, now you have the women swooning over your car. This rebuild must be a good thing, you're now impressing the right age group anyway.
Everybody ready for a cold Saturday Drive-In?

Lauren, Johny, & Greg. It is a pretty big size turbo. However, we all know it isn't the size of the turbo that matters, but how much boost it's running. It does barely fit, I saw it in Jon's car.
Bert, I think I am finally impressing the right age group, because I will finally have the performance to backup the aesthetics. (eg my RX7 isn't rice: all bark and no bite)
