I just went thru all 157+ pages of this thread to check out anyone who has attended a drive-in or posted with the intentions of making it to one. I got 26 posts from rotartians who should know about the GRR and sent each one a PM. With the regular attenders and regular posters we have about 40 people who should know about the rally no to mention those who will hear about it by word of mouth. 25 in attendance should be a reasonable expectation for turnout.

^I second that. Bert, has been great at keeping our group organized. I'll take this opportunity to thank him for all his efforts. If not for him we'd probably still be wondering who all the other RX7 drivers in the area are and trying to flag each other down. THANKS, Bert.

Ok, I'm going to TRY and make it out. Asked for the day off.
I just hope my FC will make it! hah. Anybody in the raleigh area not have a ride? If I can make it in time, Ill try my best to make it, but unfortunately I won't be able to give anything definitive until say... 11/6 (coming saturday)
If I get the FC running, and it lasts for a week, I'll be there just about no matter what.
Bert, how many people (rotor guys/cars) are expected so far?

WOOT! 1000TH POST! I figured I'd share it with the home team (not that it is that exciting). Hope all is going well for everyone. Look forward to seeing everyone at the GRR.

We're glad to have you, Greg. You have a beautiful ride. I wish I could get a hold of one that clean.
The post count really just means I spend way too much time on the forum.

Glad to hear you're coming, you can send a check or cash to:
Bert Riggsbee
16124 New Light Rd
Wake Forest, NC 27587
I'll send you a receipt and ticket by email if you will send along your email address, otherwise I'll have both waiting on you at the GRR on the 13th. Don't be surprised or shocked if Josh starts crying when you pull up, his beautiful black FD is broken and he is doing a bunch of mods, even an engine rebuild this winter on her, kinda like nip/tuck. Just let him take some time and compose himself, he'll be OK.

Actually, if all goes well I will be picking up another Fiero for this weekend. Maybe I can keep up with you guys on some of the back roads. Hopefully, BigBoz won't be too embarrassed. if he is i will trail behind and pretend like I am not with him.
BigBoz, I was planning on heading out around one-ish. Are you familiar with Clayton? If so we can meet at the Bojangles. Its about an hour from Clayton to Bahama.
