great pics, bobby.
+1 on the RX8 message, rodriguez. i think our group(mainly me) has a problem relating to people that aren't outgoing. I/we need to make an effort to reach out and touch those "shy" people. next ti am gonna just sit right in the middle of the new crowd.
had a blast everyone! hope to do it again soon. nice meeting the people that stuck around for the drive.

Cookout was fun. Food was great and the ride afterwards was a blast. Hope I didn't hold anyone up too much :p. I'll see you guys at the next meet and I'll have to work on that whole being outgoing thing.

Phil, all is good. I just realized I needed to run by my parents house and figured if I didn't do it since it's on the way home.... and I hadn't been by there in quite a while. I wish I could of gone on the cruise though. Great fun, good food, enjoyed it. Nice idea on the note to the 8 guys also.

Hey guys. It was great meeting everyone and hope to do it again sometime. I appreciate the message left on the 8 board. I will admit it seemed like the place was split down the middle. My "weak" attempts at conversation felt like they got drowned out by inside stories from you regulars. I will certainly try to be more outgoing next time. Maybe something simple like cards, dominoes, or other activities would make it easier to get more people involved.
I did put up a bunch of pictures...

It's always akward the first time new people come together with a group. It was akward for me the first time I spent the day with the group down in Wilmington well over a year ago! It will get better!!!

And before I catch hell from the other 8s that will be seeing your pics on the board; I did NOT put that exhaust on my car! It came like that. I don't want to put any more money into it!

I regret missing the cook out but I figured I'd make the next one, and we all know I'm not driving the Prelude (not like it would have made the drive afterwards anyway) and I was a little depressed after punching a new dent into the FD.

are you trying to say i am loud and obnoxious? hahaha. i know i am, it wouldn't be the first time it was said by a member of the group, and probably won't be the last. i have two modes; quiet, and reserved(doesn't happen often) and boisterous and outgoing.
i agree with you though. something that "forces" us to interact with each other, might make it easier to relate. it is the ongoing story, old group knows each other, shares stories, etc. new groups/individuals come in and feel a bit out of sync.
i remember when we started this group, some smack was talked about the MSCCNC for not being sociable, and what have you. i think we are starting to fit into this mold ourselves. it's something hard to avoid unless you actively seek to prevent it. i have known most of the older members for at least a year, some going as far back as 4, that's a lot of shared stories.
anyhow, glad everyone could make it. seems like the only people that could really stomach our group was the couple with the black 8, that went on the drive. 04BB8, doesn't count, he is getting to be old in the group now, which means it is time for me to learn your name. What is it by the way?
I got around to downloading my Pics, The can be found on Webshots
And a couple teaser shots:
Here's the 220B Cake. Awesome Job Janna (if I recall correctly)
Mazda engine goes hmmmmmmmmm...woooooooshhhhhhhh
A little fuzzy, but I got a couple people pictures:
