Saturdays In Raleigh, Nc
Aye! This is the plan! Hammer, chisel, rock slab. Set in stone...everyone agree? I think this way we would have the most people.
Hey guys, it's late at night and I'm bored. So let's play a round of... what new car should I get?
Used RX-8: 2004's can be had for cheap, still under warranty
Mazda(speed?)3: If you've gotta have a 4 door econobox, might as well get a good one.
Series 5 T2: My dream car. Will never find one.
Series 4 T2: Probably won't find one for sale that isn't a POS, but I can fix it
FD: Ha! Just kidding.
None of the above: Super/Turbocharge the Miata, paint the damn SE

Sounds like there might be a meet up at Sonic this weekend. Are the folks that are going to cook out Saturday going to be too wiped out to hang out for a bit on Saturday night? I know it will probably be pretty hot.
What time at Sonic and what is the Address?

Here We Go - Map to Sonic on Atlantic Ave.
Make sure you get a good look at that map - Atlantic Ave does not have an exit off of 440.
Now we just need a time.

Sunday is OK for me. Vote +1. Thats 3 Votes for Sunday, 0 votes for anyotherday. Sounds etched in stone to me.
Saturday, new meet location at the scheduled time (~6 I think it is).
Yup, no exit off of 440. The best way from 440 is probably to take the wake forest rd exit and then go away from downtown (which ever direction your coming from will determine if thats a right or a left). Go to new hope church rd and hang a right, and then hang a left onto atlantic ave. Sonic will be a few miles down on the right.
If you miss new hope church rd, you can take wake forest rd to old wake forest rd shortcut (across from bojangles) which will take you to milbrook. Make a right on milbrook and then another right on atlantic. Sonic will be less than a mile on the left.
If you miss the shortcut, you can go alllll the way to milbrook rd, make a right, go to atlantic ave, make a right, and then sonic will be less than a mile on the left.
All that can be seen on the map.

Saturday June 9th: Meet at Sonic on Atlantic avenue(between New Hope Church Rd and Millbrook road).
Sunday June 10th: Falls Lake Grill Out. (North on Creedmoor Rd, across US98, and the first entrance on the right after crossing the lake, I assume that one since it was the same one as before).

Thanks Josh and Greg.
Today is the rotary engines birthday too. (click me) Technically, it's the anniversary of the first Mazda rotary engine car but who's looking at technicalities. GEMINI... that explains a few things I know how they get.

Make an assessment...

That 94 white FD would be nice too, that's a hell of a deal. I wish I had the money. Maybe I should just sell Melba and start over with that one, haha.
Although Ray's FC sounds like a great deal too, and that's the only generation I don't have. Oh, I talked to my Aunt this past weekend about the second FB they have out on the farm. I think my Uncle is trying to get some money out of me for the second one now that he sees that I want it, haha. He said "well it's worth $150" haha. For two FBs, I'll give him $150, I don't care.
Happy Birthday MilkCartonMan. Happy Birthday Rotary.

i would suggest the 285s or larger if you can wedge them in there. i want to go 295, but might do another 275 set if the price is right.
you know me the more meat in the back the better. haha

You should do what I have wanted to do for a while.

You have a miata, it gets good gas mileage, you arent trying to keep the miles down (are you?). I vote ITBs.
check out www.clubroadster.net and look at the IRTB forum. Lots of info and LOTS of very happy miata owners who swear by ITBs.
And finding a clean S5 TII probably wouldnt be that hard, just time consuming.
