A fistful of reprimanding will be dispatched to Eric at the next, next, next meet when he shows up. Phillip's squirreliness...pfft...your mom. The yellow line in the middle of the road is just a suggestion like a yellow light. They should have painted it red.

Josh, is there really a giant red star floating above that other New Hope? I'd love to work there then.

I am going to do the mazda drivers event at VIR. use my DGRR money towards that, plus it will give me time to get my suspension done.

Let's start tech days next month! Anybody opposed please speak up, since I don't want to make it seem as though this is the law I think it would be a good idea though.
What Mazda Driver's event? What's going on there? What specifically? I'll be down for that, if I have money for it after driving home on leave (or flying if the car isn't up and running). May Tech days FTW!!!

Calm down P-Rod, I was referring to how your car gets squirrelly at high speeds. I wasn't even there that day you couldn't drive worth a ****, HAHA.

Greg, you dont wave. Saw you coming off Glenwood onto Edwards Mill/Creedmore. Gave you a big wave, and nothing. Whats up with that? (j/k)

I can do exhaust any time this coming weekend. fri, sat, even sunday, thoguh i have to work sunday night, so id prefer NOT to do it then

Saturday would be best. The reason I havent done it at my apartment is because the apartment complex is kind of iffy about letting me do any work around here.

Phil, my apartment complex is real nice with the exception of the working on cars thing. Its right by the RBC center off wade ave near 40 and 440.

Yeah, Greg's kinda stuck up sometimes, j/k of course, lol.

Well you could always bring your car to my house and we can do everything here, haha. Or I can stop through after picking up the turbos and give you a hand.

Just got my coilovers back in. I almost started disassembling the exhaust and turbos, but figured I'd wait til this weekend at least, just in case I needed to take it for a spin again, haha.

Yeah well, BWAHAHAHA!!! LOL

Someone else has a set of twins for $225 shipped, off a 94, no leaks, good boost, the usual small cracks on the exhaust manifold. I'm waiting for pics.

^Well have fun out there, there's not a chance in hell I'm going to DGRR again. I'll go again some other time when some of you want to go, but I won't go to another DGRR. Aside from the fact I'd have no power to drive it this time, haha. Unless I get my turbos on before then. DAMN I can't wait.

Your place might be better. my apartment complex will be over here within a matter of minutes telling me I shouldnt be working on my car and need to move it to the 'car maintenance" area..... on the other side of the complex.

I'll trade some beer for the help, or Ill trade my help on the turbos when you get them in. Cant say how much help I will be, but I could be a cheerleader at least.

Give me and E! E!!! Give me an R! R!!!

Greg: yeah I was in the left turn lane. I even stuck my hand out the window

Greg, I think I've been sipping some of Josh's Kool-aid, but I seem to remember way back when reading about LS1 swaps for FC verts, and it had lots of positives. The driveline is stronger than other NA RX-7s (I think because verts were all turbo in other territories) and since it has all the extra weight to reinforce the frame when you drop the heavy LS1 in it it actually gives it a close to 50/50 weight ratio like the other 7's.

Of course, it's heavier, but when you've got that much power, does it matter anymore? In case you can't tell, an LS1 vert is another one of my dream cars, right up there with the red S5 T2 *ahem* and the supercharged Miata.

That's cool, no matter. I don't drink beer or alcohol, and I don't need anything for compensation. Like I said before, it's all about just helping each other, and I love working on 7's anyway. A cheerleader would be OK though, haha. Sometimes I need that just to cheer me up after being disappointed in my car, haha. You do know I live in Hope Mills right? Not New Hope, haha. I'm down in Fayetteville, but you're still more than welcome to come down. We'll make it a mx weekend, WOOHOO!!! Something to keep my mind off of being soooo lonely lol

I'm sure Josh will chime in about the LS1 weighing around the same as a fully dressed 13B. He said something like, what, a 75 pound difference. Coilovers and battery relocation can help that.

BC, you are a dingaling. My work is in Zebulon. (Yes, it sounds like it's another planet...***.) I'm trying to stay in east Raleighwood. I think I found a place right off the highway near some food and Target. Expensive, but some stuff is included and some stuff discounted and lower than another place that I was checking out. It actually made the expensive place cheaper than the cheaper place. (Spreadsheet FTW!)

Josh, you said ignore the star on the map. Is that star really there? I want to work at a place that has a giant red star floating above it.

Eric, I was really trying a 80 mph drift on an unknown road.

Dammit, I'm talking to the guy at Canterbury Mazda in NZ about my Mazdaspeed jacket and t-shirt I ordered over two months ago...he said he has the jacket ready to ship but the shirt I ordered they don't have in the size I ordered and he wants to know if I want the other t-shirt they have. I don't even remember which freakin shirt I ordered anymore! I think I ordered the one that says Rotary Power on the front, should I get the other t-shirt instead?

http://www.canterburymazda.co.nz/par...ries/clothing/

P-Rod, I wasn't even there that day, haha. I just hears what I hears, BWAHAHAHA!!! I actually was talking about on the highway though. That's a tough one, I'm curious to find out what's causing that.

Ha, the spastic car to match the spastic owner! (Ha...ha...<crying in corner>...)

Seriously though, it's time to buy a driveshaft. The vibrations are getting more than annoying. I also think my clutch master cylinder is going. I'm having to depress the pedal quite far now to disengage the clutch. Yet another thing to fix...that and the squirrel issue. (I have such a hard time spelling squirrel.)

In other, less depressing news, I have re-, re-, re-, rediscovered Pantera. I hear "Cowboys From Hell" and I think of an RX-7 (and 8...pfft) driving video.

By the way guys, I was just cruising in the for sale section, and I am getting tempted to sell my GSLSE. I don't know of anyone in RRDI that is looking for one, but I thought I would tell you so that anyone who might be interested would get first crack at it.
