Haha, I hit the jackpot so I figured I'd post them up. I was going to put up the one "almost ran over you with mah invisible bike" you posted up, but you beat me to it. That one's hilarious, haha.

Peeps of RRDI: I'm going to moving to east Raleighwood, but not getting a house. Apartment-warming party? Maybe.

Eric, that's funny that you said P-Rod; that's my nickname. The guys I ride (bikes) with call me that.

^Dad and mom stopped by the place today. My parents brought me lots of green tea (I drink it like water) and some other stuff. Among the other stuff was Iraqi Dinars. Don't really know how it's spoken. I doubt they are going to be worth anything, but I always like to see currency from around the world.

Well it looks obvious to me.... you get 25 TV dinars....

Kinda cool though. You never know, one day it might be worth something.

Hey Eric, I may need your assistance soon. I think I might be getting my new HKS exhaust sooner than expected. I decided to sell my nitro RC car on eBay so, if it goes this week I'll have the exhaust on order! It went down in price and can't really pass it up!

Holy smokes! As a lurker I am saddened at these recent 318 turns of events surrounding Raleigh and Deal's Gap. I have an FB and I somehow hoped I could join up for the weekend.

So many misunderstandings here. Hope it gets cleared up. And, how ironic, as all the counties around there are dry!

Ugh... you know me... bringing up a 3 page old dead horse because I need to do the right thing.

Okay. I have realized that I owe you guys an apology. It is my fault that any of this drama with Phil has happened.

When people first started talking about getting the Mansion again, it was pretty upsetting to a few people, including myself, because I was the only one in the RRDI trying to explain the reasons behind why we should stay at Fontana. The idea first came up at dinner back when a few of us were down at Fayetteville about reserving the Mansion.

It was stated very clearly to me by Phil and all of the rest of the volunteers for this event that it is best for the entire event if we all stay together at Fontana. I did not feel like I was being heard at all when I tried to state my case to Josh, Eric, and Chris about the Mansion, so therefore I invited Phil to come on our thread since nobody really even knew that we were getting a group rate and saving each other money.

Last year, we presented ourselves as pretty stuck up because we "were going back to the mansion." Sure some of you guys don't care either way how you look to other people, but you are hurting the appearance and reputation of RRDI as a whole, and therefore hurting those of us who DO care. No, nobody there was stuck up last year... people were already upset because we ditched the event and alienated ourselves from everyone else.

I'm sorry for the "god-complex" comment. I was unfair for that accusation. It does appear evident at this point that members who step forward and start presenting ideas should think about how they post and what good/bad may come from it. I didn't do that very well this morning with my negative comment. I am currently working on keeping my foot out of my mouth as much as possible. I'm sorry, guys.

Phil and Eric, I apologize to you for dragging you into all of this. Unfortunately, there are very few outspoken people who are interested in DGRR this year, those people will be attending..... including myself... the bigmouth.

I promise I won't bring this up again. I just needed to make things right.

Let's move on to things that we can continue to do as a group. I really do want to pursue the idea of having shop days together. I think we could all work really well together to teach each other new ideas.

This original post just included the names of people I saw who were reading at the time that I was about to sign off. I didn't know we could see who was online til this morning. I thought it was kinda cool. I was only referring to Gary and Greg in my original post, because I didn't see them posting, but saw them online.

...and yes, I just quoted myself. LOL

This reaction was what I feared would happen. I really didn't want to scare off any new members who were interested in meeting up with us. I hope you will meet up with us on Saturday. This thread is an unfair representation of the fellowship this group really has.

Actually I would consider this a fair representation of our group in some regards. I wouldn't let it stop any new members from showing up, but let's not sugar-coat this situation.

Back on to the catzFTW.

P-Rod- Actually THOSE Dinars should be worth quite a bit since he's now deposed (and de-nogin-ized haha). I bought some last time I was in Saudi, back in '01, along with alot of currency from other countries. I have some coins, supposedly from Roman days. I always wanted to get them checked out for authenticity, probably just some metal, haha.

Nic -No problem whatsoever buddy, just let me know. I can't wait to do some maintenance on someone else's car for a change, haha. Something newer to be exact, haha.

seamusmurrin17- I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, there will still be meets so come on out.

EDIT: Damn, I didn't even notice all the posts above P-Rod's Dinar, I guess I'm drawn to money no matter what nation it's from, haha.

EDIT II: OK I'm a 'tard, those posts were BELOW all that and somehow I missed it

Also if you want drama get an FD. I think I might sell my FD and get a girlfriend, I can't afford both at one time.
