Sounds good to me Josh. Just please look ASAP cause I'm supposed to be talking to Rich again today about getting them.

Good to know you got the coilover issue fixed too. I figured it would be harder to repair than what it was. I guess Tein knows what they're doing, haha.

I'm still waiting on the coilover bottoms for my front set. Rishie said STANCE shipped them out a couple days ago though so they should be here soon enough. You still coming down this weekend Josh? I'll still take off Friday if you want to start then. That is if you have the primaries cause I'm not sure I'd have the ones from Rich by then.

i wont be able to check til tonight. i am 90% sure i have them though.

TEIN both knows what tehy are doing and doesnt. i think(with my vast and undeniable knowledge) that they should have used stainless, or at least some antiseize down there. unless they suppose NO moisture will ever get in your engine bay. at least they made it easy to fix, though, so they get bonus points for that.

Alright cool. Just let me know bro. How many miles do they have on them? I kinda want to swap all the injectors though, but we'll see what happens. I had heard pros and cons about Tein, so I wasn't sure about them. I almost wish I'd gotten some with the EDFC though, cause I would actually use it, at least in the beginning to see what levels work best on the road, track, whatever.

I'm not sure they'll close this thread. They closed the bored at work thread but that one was much longer than this one (probably because the people were on all day cause they were BORED AT WORK, just a hunch though). Seriously, I have my settings to show 40 posts per page...this thread is at 238 pages and that thread was at 2,685 or something like that, WOW. LOL

EDIT: And although I think it will be harder to tell who is writing what at first glance (therefore I don't really like the idea of everyone having the same avatar haha), I'll go ahead and change mine at least for a short time, showing support of my bro (and part time mechanic) Josh, haha.

Oh yeah, and Phil (or anyone), if you can go ahead and resize one of my pics I'll put that as my avatar. If someone hits me back I'll send them the pic. Thanks.

Hey all, I just got word from Ground Operations on SJAFB, about being able to park on the flightline for the upcoming airshow on May 12th...IT'S A GO!!!!! All I need is a pretty good estimated of who is going to make it.

So, far I know for sure:
1. myself and Keri
2. Gary
3. Bert
4. Eric

Just pm me or add you name to the list. I'll need total head count by the next meet so, they can make room for however many we bring!

Haahahah I just saw Greg at the Mazda Dealership parts department. It's funny when I had the 1st gen I never stepped foot into a dealership looking for stuff!

Greg, Sports and Compacts does work on RX7's and pretty much any JAP cars.

Eric and Josh, its really confusing you both having the same avatar, and determining who posted what!

Josh, I didn't see you man, if I did I would have stopped I want to check out your ride. I had my dad with me and I was going to the shop to try to sort out some issues with my car.

Carl! Yeah I never expected to be running into anyone there! I go there all the time and get all my stuff from them. I went ahead and ordered the belts and pads, plugs they always have. OEM FTW!

the injectors have like 80-90K I think, but i know they work. you could use them til you did something with your leaky ones (if that is the problem)

Nic- I'll go if I can get the car back up and running. I would hope that would be the case by May 12th but who knows. I guess I could always keep my name on the list and if I don't show up, oh well. They're not going to have formation are they? Oh crap...I gotta get my blues in order!

If the car isn't running I'll just stay at your place the night before if that's alright and just ride over with you guys or walk. It's up to you though. I wasn't really gonna park on the flightline anyway, not for the carshow thing if that's what you're talking about. Mine is in no condition to show, I'd be ashamed to have it out there the way it is.

I knew that was gonna happen, I was getting confused myself, haha. Imagine if ALL of us changed it to that, wow. I always look at the avatar first, very seldom do I look at the name.

It's cool buddy, I LOVE pink Er, I mean...what?

Well if it's not too much work to change the injectors I'd be down for that. I'd just hate to do all that and end up needing others anyway. I was actually going to get new ones til I saw how much they cost, damn. I'm gonna see for sure how much Rich will be asking and I'll get back to you. I'd rather just do them all at once actually, unless the price is up there. I almost wanna go ahead and get a PFC now too though, especially if my engine is still good. I really think it is, but it's hard telling with this damn thing. After I explained the problem to Rich, he was confused himself cause he said it was really weird.

Greg...that pic would be fine actually! Although it'd be kind of an inside joke since you can't read it, haha. I might go ahead and put that one up though, haha.

EDIT: Can't use the pic, it's still too big. Damn. I was gonna change Dragon Death Squad to what the pic says too!

I can't believe you guys put that as your avatar. Awesome points. Many of them. On another note, had an interview for a company in Clayton and have a phone interview tomorrow with a Goliath-esque company. Today's interview went REALLY well. It's a 20 mile trek from my house so I'm not too worried. I think this might force me into actually buying a new driveshaft and finding out what really causes my car to dance on the highway. It's like a damn bellydancer...

So, I switched my brake pads. Yeah, I put Bendix pads on the front and kept the Hawks on the rear. Ahem...night and day. I can actually stop my car now when I want. Seriously, it's bad enough that I still have to warm up my engine on a 85* day, but my brakes need to warm up too? Pfft! Putting the anti-squeal stuff all over everything obviously helps, but it was really the stopping time/distance that bothered me. I've had a few close calls with the Hawks. These pads and the anti-squeal crap have eliminated the "crunchies" I had.

We could share the same icon, but change something like one of the corners. You could insert something you identify with in the corner. (Eric would either have a smoke cloud or a biscuit. Josh could have a boost gauge, reading vacuum. Nic could have a pyramid or mummy on his. <-Egyptian Curse FTL. Gary could have a stickshift that only moves back and forth...muah ha ha ha ha... Greg would have a grizzly bear, guitar, or a beard in the corner or a beard on Juggernaut. I would have either a nailbat or brickhammer. <- New invention! 1. Find brick with those three holes. 2. Insert stick in middle hole. 3. Annihilate anything. 4. Rinse and repeat.)

Post-It notes:

1. RRDI is unstoppable.
2. New brake pads FTW.
3. Job hopefully soon.
4. RRDI is unstoppable.

Thanks Greg, I'll give it a shot. Read that Phil...don't get too excited, only one person can run that avatar in a practical way, haha. Although Juggernaut would look pretty cool eating a biscuit slathered in some good CB gravy!

Well, Rich said the 550 injectors they have are practically brand new but have been cleaned and flow tested, and the 850 injectors have been cleaned and flow tested as well...all four for $300. I'm gonna go ahead and do this, and have them overnighted so I can have them by this weekend. Actually I might go ahead and take Friday off anyway so we can get started on it, sound good Josh? Carl, you wanna come down too? It's up to you of course, just checking.

I tried that but I could only get them down to about 8KB and they have to be 6KB, so it didn't work. Oh well, I guess Juggernaut will have to stay a while.

Josh, turns out I don't have the money in my account for the injectors so if you can find the ones in your garage maybe we can at least try those and see what happens. Damn I really want to replace them all at once, but oh well.

What are you planning on doing with the Vodka? I don't think hard liquor is appropriate for a Driving event at any time, under any circumstances, and definitely not on the roads we'll be driving. So please leave the vodka in Raleigh.
