The bold part is what's wrong, that's the reason you shouldn't get it. Jay Laub will destroy the FD by the time he's finished. Someone should cut his hands off and give him a labotomy.

Actually I think that link will only take you to the main page so click on "AGE Ooops!" on the left side under AGE Flashbacks (third section down). Some of them are pretty funny.
Oh, and Nic..."what can brown do for you?" LOL UBS FTW!!!

Paint fumes and beer! w00t.
you may want to recruit more people. the more people the easier it is gonna be. say like on person per panel (i.e. 2Xfront fender, 2Xdoor, 2Xrear fender, and hood) I would say easily 6 people. anyhow, it is either that our 3-4 people who love sanding. haha. depending on the weekend i might be able to make it.
so you have you, david, chris, and josh(probably) we need 2-3 more volunteers.
is there beer? that may help in recruiting.

I'll probably be installing it the 2 weekends from now, since next weekend is Autocross. I've talked to one person who installed it himself and he says it very straight forward and an easy DYI. Plus I've read the same on the RX-8 boards of others who did their own installs. So I figured I would tackle it myself too,

Real easy install also - About 21/2 hours to install, 2 test test drives, and clean up.

I was thinking we could get together on Saturday, March 17th to do sanding and start painting... and for those who are available, we can continue painting on March 18th. I have work until noon every Saturday and Sunday, so we can make an afternoon out of the project. If the weather is bad, we can look at another weekend. We will be dealing with wind, because it is March... so painting might be interesting.
...I was thinking that since we are prepping it properly, wouldn't it cost just as much to take it somewhere like Maaco or Peach as it would to get the right amount of paint cans? The only reason these places suck is because they don't prep the cars right! Let me know what y'all think about this.

All those were as a SrA and below though, haha. There have been SO many more accidents though...actually check out this site, it's our AGE Ranger site, the OOPS page to be more precise, it's pretty funny....

Please allow me to share my disdain for cheap bastards that go to Wal-Mart and can't spend the extra couple dollars for the oil filter...
I was changing my oil at about 915 tonight and grabbed the filter I bought about a month ago, and found that I've somehow formed some sort of unholy, and what I thought to be a short-lived relationship with SuperTech, only to find the sultry mistress had other ideas.

This one looks like Nellis AFB in Vegas, going around perimeter road. A little too fast with a -60 generator. These things have a small jet engine inside that operates at 42,000RPM, and if it frags out, you better not be standing in between the red lines going down the side...story goes parts have gone through one piece of equipment to embed halfway into an engine block.

These two are also from Okinawa. The first pic is where they forgot to put the maintenance stands into the hangar for a typhoon, so they got all entangled. I'm still not sure how we fixed them, I don't remember it. The second one happened while I was in Saudi in '01, turns out putting the stands into the hangar doesn't always pan out.
