Don't want the engine, already got a new one from Mazda, I'm just waiting on the IC/Blower! And I think it's the 6 port Renesis left over from the GT 8 Pettit built. But I could be mistaken?

I need to sell my Black TII ASAP I know some of you have seen it, I wanted to see if anyone was looking for a TII in our group first. Some pictures of it on my car domain site as well as some information. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2161861 AIM or PM any Qs $4000.

Hey Guys,
I went over the last few pages of the thread,
and while it may have been unpleasant for some of you -
it doesn't merit any deletion or moderation.
I usually stay out of this thread because it is over 555+ pages long, and you guys seem to use it as your own mini forum in your areas.
I Really recommend you guys start new threads for
each event. Having them all in one ridiculously long thread makes it next to impossible to find any pertinent information.
What do you think? Should I lock this thread, and then you guys can start Fresh threads for each car club, and each event?
It sure makes it easier to search, keep posts on topic, and to moderate. I think the only longer post on the forum is probably Jim Lab's V8 monstrosity thread, and if you've ever read that one, you know there's plenty of worthless posts in there.

seriously though i like our long thread. it makes it easy for me to keep up with what our group is up to.

Don't lock the thread. There isn't really any important information that can be found here. It's a good place for us to catch up with each other and to make it easier for new people in the area to find us and learn a little about us before they actually meet with us.

I am so completely embarrassed by what I just finished reading in this forum I don't even know where to begin. Jason and Josh, you both seem to have forgotten this is not an RRDI event, this is an event the Phil wanted to know if we would attending. Phil does a lot for Rotary Owners in general, not just this one event he tries to put together every year, not only lining up lower group rates, food and meeting locations but media coverage, sponsors and all the local handshaking and butt kissing that goes with it.
Last year at the mansion was fabulous but we did exclude ourselves from the rest of the people there which of course did not show us in a very good light. Not to mention how one person got stuck with the bill on that beautiful place. Anyone who agrees to rent it for the group better make sure they get the money in advance from anyone promising to come or they will get stuck again this year.
I am signing off now before I really start to rant. This is a public forum and I don't want to further tarnish RRDI by adding to the stupidity.

Back on to a civilised topic.:
Is there any validity to what a coworker told me? There will be no more emissions inspection on Pre OBD II cars soon? Just a safety inspection....

This is the last thing I will say about the subject:
Phil does do a lot for the rotary community. Phil does put a lot into the DGRR. This is not my/our event, it is Phil's event. However, Phil does not belong to our group. Phil does not have the power to speak, and for me to fold.
As I made clear in ALL of my posts it is for the RRDI group to decide what we do. Obviously, the group has spoken, it is decided. I am okay with that decision.
I am not okay with people trying to curtail my freedom of speech (some of our members serve our country to preserve that right, and are even more adamant about its value). I presented an idea, I argued for it, period. That is one of the things that makes this country great. If we never argued we would never grow. If everyone just conformed we would all be mental clones.
If you guys are embarassed then so be it. I am sorry that you place so much value on what other people think, and place so little value on the exchange of ideas/opinions.
However, like I already stated before, I realize that this thread is read by forum members outside of our group, and that perhaps meetings would be a more appropriate place to voice objections. The problem with that is that very rarely are we in one place at one time, some members can only attend the meets every few months. It is very hard to get a vote or consensus on anything that way.
Really, if anyone has a problem with me they can PM me or call me. I don't have any problems arguing til we are blue in the face about freedom of speech, or various such subjects.

I'm not at all embarrassed by this thread. If other people were offended or scared of by our comments, then how do they react in the real world? Let us not forget where the word forum comes from. If someone was looking for important technical information, then he/she would still find plenty of search hits on this site. As Josh pointed out, some of the members can't make it to the drive-in on a regular basis. This thread is a way of keeping them in the loop. Oh yeah, by the way, Directfreak correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have that bitchin' V8 Kila FD?

As for discussing things as a group, we have our own site with our own forum http://rrdi.krackedreality.ws/. If anyone can't make a meet they can post a topic there. This could have all been discussed where everyone involved with RRDI could have had input. As it is now, two members (not so much you yes I know but you didn't help) not speaking for the rest of us all made us look like ********.

Stina, you are probably going to have to count Douglas and I out for the party. I am really sorry and was really looking forward to seeing everyone again but Douglas got hit with a really bad case of the flu yesterday. He was fine around 5, just a little achey figured it was the weather and by 8 he was OUT. He has a bad cough, a high fever and hasn't gotten out of bed since about 9 last night. Unless we see a miracle tomorrow he isn't going to be in any shape for a drive.
Not to mention none of you need to get infected!
I posted on our forum but in case nobody sees it,
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!
