That would be awesome Gary. There were some great sections on that run that I would love to hit again. I had no idea where we were going!! Perky was a great co-pilot for that. No way I would have lead that driving the way I did without her calling out stuff to me! We'll have to do that one again for sure.

Yeah Nic we went crusing! Me with Perky leading, Phil RX-7, Gary RX-8, Jessi RX-7 and then a couple of his friends in the last car.
Lance came out and the Doc with his FD, so... 2 first gens, 2 second gens, the 3rd gen, 2 eights and a cressida?

Was a great drive with the exception of getting behind some traffic a couple of times. Even went for a slow cruise through some wacked multi-million dollar plus subdivision, freakin houses were like castles and ****. Was pretty awesome area.

Here's an image of the route with turn by turn directions. Total about 52 miles.

I'm gonna start mapping a more exciting route than the one we had last night. I'm glad you guys had fun. We'll have to do it again next meet when more people can come. Probably should have separate groups if the crowd gets too large. It's more fun and MUCH safer with about 5 or 6 cars at the same time.
We don't want to have a pileup like those motorcyclists on 64 last night.
Oh... and speaking of Bert, anyone heard from him? I haven't seen him in a REALLY long time!!

Like we were discussing last night, however... we should do a "midnight run," so there aren't as many cars on the road. Maybe next meet????
It's more fun when we pwn teh road!!!!!!

mad tyte dorifto skillz!!!
Did get a good idea from the drive and the flat though. Going to find me one, if not two more '91 T2 rims and put real tires on them just in case of flats from driving like that, autocross or HPDE and Deals gGp next year.

Speaking of tires, I get alot more wear on the rears than the fronts. I know these cars are hard on the rear tires anyway with camber issues and such but even with rotating them I still end up wearing out one pair more than the other. Looks like I might be getting at least a couple if not a whole set before Deals Gap next year. Then I can use my old ones on the spares!

The 8th is a Friday and VIR Holiday Laps, the 9th is a meet night and they're talking about doing a backroad drive before the meet. The one we did this past Saturday night was out of the blue, and much fun in the dark!
