I have too much to do this Saturday and haven't been able to get out there and drive it in daylight any this week. With the move back to Standard Time its almost dark by the time I get home from work.

If we do it before the next DI we might get more people to come out for it. We'll spend a couple of hours enjoying some tight curves lonely back roads that afternoon. Just hope we don't misplace anyone this time.
Anyone else interested in this??? Im content bringing my engine up to 7krpms now, so Im down if we have a group that makes it worth doing.

The saga continues... Today Phillip pulled more speakers out of his car. He checked his meter fuse (I hate that damn thing) socket and found a surge of ~15 A running through at some point between key insertion and startup. (WTF!) Onto the guage cluster...pulled it...put fuse back in...started.......<bzzzt!>...****... Now I'm going to tear more out of the car in order to hunt down this elusive short. I also have a professional compression test on Tuesday for $88.50 w/ tax to see if my POS is on it's way to the grave. I'm probably going to do another compression test before that day to confirm if I really need to have a professional test done.

today was the first day the car was cranked. here is a short video i took with my phone. only the first 5-6 seconds are really audible. when i hit the throttle i think it is too loud for the mic on the phone. but you guys get the idea. oh and nobody panic. it'd been running a while before i revved it.

yeah the connectors. Im not sure i think its the secondaries. The ones that go into the manifold not the ones that go into the housings. Of course they might be the same but i dont know.

Oh, and the car sounds great!!

Hey everyone, Long story short: I'm in desperate need of a y-pipe o-ring(FD) and was wondering if any of you have one for sale or know where i can pick one up locally.

I had an efini y-pipe and am currently installing a M2/ASP medium IC, so i am putting back the stock y-pipe and broke my new o-ring. Now the car is just sitting there because i can't put back the ypipe! any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

I went to VIR today and picked up some parts for my REW project, form Fritz Flynn

I also got to ride with him today He had a basiclly stock FD he did have r compound tires though. I have to tell you he is the Tarzan yamada of the US, We never got passed and probably passed 10 or more cars Im sure pissed of a few Audi owners.
So basicly I learned my driving sucks.

Johny! What the hell are you up too? Hah! Funny you mentioned Fritz. I did the MSCCNC autocross today and Matt mentioned I should ride with him sometime. I know that had to be an experience after watching his track vids. I'm envious and I'd prolly be in the same boat thinking about how my driving sucks. I did have an excellent instructor today and it really helped my driving even though I have never driven like that before. Makes me want to get some HPDE instruction real bad also.
