I'd probably cry if I kept track of my stats like that. Ahem, you know you're an RX-7 owner if: when you first heard about the 3800 hesitation you thought it was hesitating to spend another 3800 on it.

Greg, good to see you up there. Next time you plan to go let me know, we almost are always racing up there if it is an SCCA event. All the action happened on Saturday!!! Didn't get to qualify due to some TPS problems so started dead last and passed 28 cars, felt like Tom Cruise in days of thunder except for not being Tom Cruise and not being in a stock car .

I worked for Kenny one summer at the bodyshop on Germantown Road. He has lots of cars including the black Porsche. The bodyshop does really nice work but mighty hard on the wallet!

Carl, it was funny 'cause I kept hearing the name during the race and kept wondering. Last time I had talked to Kenny was at least 12 years ago at another friends shop. So I had to find out hah! Got up there and was like... doesn't look like him but as soon as he spoke I knew it was him. I didn't know he had been racing, just about his shop and some of his Porsche adventures around town. He was a crazy kid with motorcycles when we were growing up... I mean crazy. Did I mention he was crazy? Anyway it was good to see him again, we had a great time growing up in the old neighborhood.

^I'll tell ya what's crazy...the fact that you still see people you know from childhood! That is awesome. I wasn't sure if you grew up in NC or were supplanted here from somewhere else like Nic and myself, and so many others. That's cool you're still around here.

just incase any of yall were wondeirn where the token piston vehicle was on saturday...
Got them on yesterday.... Not sure if i like the sound when with my LM catback...
old stuff:
pass manifold
driver cat
pass cat and y pipe
EGR
so i put on about 40 lbs of stuff.. took off approx 70 lbs inc the AIR pump
im getting the Y welded to the headers.. hopefully thats not a mistake.. If i dont the y keeps slipping off one side where i had to kinda jam it because of bad fitment.
im also getting a O2 bung welded into the end of my Y so i can install a 5th o2 sensor for a Wideband o2.
Wideband o2, fuel press, and oil temp gauges are on the way. Autometer phantom on a 3 gauge pod for the A pillar. gonna put hte n2o gauge in the center air vent when i get nitrous... also planning on putting a shiftlite in the drivers window defrost vent. ive heard RAPTORs are nice and small enough to fit.
After i street this setup for awhile, if i keep disliking the sound of the lt's and lm cat back, im gonna convert it to a dynomouth catback.. getting a dynomax race 16.5 inch bullet muffler welded in.. cost = 50 bux.. haha
anways, im happy for awhile.. Hopin for 320 onthe dyno.. thats a 30 hp gain over stock

Long time no posting... thought I'd say hello to everyone. I've been very busy lately, I even forgot there was a meeting on Saturday!!
We will be at the next one... in the FB, of course. The FC is a current work in progress because a bolt in the T-stat housing snapped from corrosion, so we're currently jumping over that bridge.
She should be done by December.

NICE FD by the way. Spend a lot of time with her and remember to keep the CFM ratio high! That way your FD will stay happy and we all know when the rotary is happy, everyone is happy!
