the "poser" t2 is mine lets just clear one thing up though... its got a t2 hood only because its aluminium and i could ot find a aluminium na one in time. and im also considering a t2 swap this summer. so im not trying to look like a t2, thats just how it worked out.
it really was a good meet tho. alot of nice cars and that turbo'd convertable too!

well count me out for deals gap as of now...
went to a local meet tonight in Deltona and was following some races when all of a sudden i feel a lil shudder and my car turned into what sounded like a subaru....I knew as soon as it happend what had just happened. Rear rotor has little compression on 2 faces and one good face. so I believe I may have only cracked a seal. But never the less this will be my 5th rebuild in the past year and Im getting tired of this. I dont have money to keep dumping in this car and Im going to be either selling the car or parting it out. and I dont think ill be able to make it to the dragon now.....since i have no car and Ill prolly just get depressed being there.
On a positive note though I have a friend here who has a 93 R1 for sale that Ive been lookin at for a while now and I think ive aked him down as low as he'll go with it. sooooo MAYBE i might be joining the FD crowd....if I can get a loan.....

I didn't paint my car, though. It wasn't my choice to do a half-*** job on the paint. The previous owner was an idiot. By far.
But I do recall him putting the TII hood on the N/A by choice.

Argh! The GSL-SE got me in trouble again!
I was taking her out to get some gas, and warm the engine a bit since I was planning on changing the oil today. On the way back, a cop gets me, and gives me TWO speeding tickets and two running stop signs. I was guilty of one speeding offence, but not two. The stop sign running were "california rolls" on streets that had no other cars but me on them. Not to mention the cop wasn't behind me then, so how would he know what I was doing?
The ticket is for 47 in a 35. The 35 mph road in question is a 5 lane road that if you actually do 35 in, you will probably get hit by other cars doing 45.

but this is cop ticket month, so everyone be extra careful now.. the cops are out in force looking to hand out stupid tickets, esp for speeding (even like 5 over)

Yeah, you've got that right, redneck. After the ticket, I drove to a little hamburger joint on the same road I was speeding on, and I think I saw 4 or 5 marked cop cars and another 3 or 4 Crown Vics that were probably unmarked in the 15 minutes or so I was eating. Typically you can drive all over town and only see one cop car ever. I was doomed, DOOMED!

Details about the time and location of departure are still a little scetchy...but myself and the group on Thurs. are looking at leaving as ealry as possible that morning, but that could change.
