well they havent had their hands on it at all...the car has just been sitting there, no one could get in the car till last week...so i know they havent been messing with that at all. im thinking it either not getting enough spark or (or because) the battery is so weak. like right after it would almost crank, the battery would die back out.

could be a number of things, like Richard said... but it could also be flooded. do a search for a flooded FC, and it will walk you through the steps to try that possibility.

EDIT! THIS WEEKEND'S PLANS!!
Ok... Here is what you can bring.
Make sure whatever you bring is enough for around 20 people. That way everyone can have a little bit of something. Apparently this event is gonna be a big blowout.
suggestions:
-a few large bags of chips/dip
-soda at least 3 2-liter bottles...
-a casserole
-pan of lasagna
-hot dogs in hot dog buns already heated
-a pizza
-cooked chickens from the deli
-a dessert
-Alcohol... Mary said just as long as we share with her... haha I didn't think she was gonna allow alcohol, but she was like, "of course!" LOL. so anyway... someone could bring that, or everyone could bring a 6 pack. whatever.
-a pot of mac & cheese
Just use your imagination. it's alot like the kind of thing you do when you bring a covered dish to homecoming at church.
she recommended you call your moms and ask her what she would recommend to bring to a pot luck. I guess some of you haven't been to one before... so maybe you can get some suggestions from her.
Start a list of what you are bringing, so nobody brings the same thing.

Well, not to go offtopic, but wanted to let you guys know...I was planning on being there this weekend but now I'm not sure cause it looks like I'll be working this weekend. And Rishie just told me my wheels probably won't be in from Japan til after Deal's Gap so I'm pissed about that too. The Rotary gods are not smiling upon me my friends. Sounds like you guys are gonna have fun this weekend though. Another picnic at the farm?
Damn, was just reading 'Stina's posts, I might have to leave straight from work for this! I won't get out til 4 so it will be close, I won't be up there til about 5:30 or 6 probably so if some of you could PM me your numbers so I can call and get directions if I miss you, that would be great. HINT HINT 'STINA!

Oh yeah, chances are it's flooded. Have a good battery!
1. Get new plugs
2. Connect on the diagnostic connector GND and FNP (I think)
3. Take old plugs out.
4. Crank the engine without plugs for 5 seconds.
5. Put new plugs in.
6. Take out jumper from diagnostic connector
7. Crank.

*SIDE NOTE*
If you guys need directions for Mary's Farm, I will have them posted on the RRDI website tomorrow night/Friday. everyone is more than welcome to meet us there if they aren't able to caravan with us at 6:30.
If we ARE able to get a group together before 6:30, we might leave a little earlier, so our foods don't get cold, and we'll all get the chance to have good choices on other food before it's gone.
Also, we'll be taking the fun twisty back road we drove when the 4 or 5 of us did our "Twisties in the Triangle" (AKA ****) back in November/December. That way we can take on that awesome road again... the one we were stuck behind a slow grandma car before!!

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Nah it doesn't run... I'm just gonna throw it on my back and carry it home...
Cmon now... Why would I buy a car when mine doesn't run? That seems pretty self explanatory doesn't it? I need something to drive until mine is done, at which point the FB (GS model) will be turned into a track beast...

I'm here to testify FIRST HAND, these are the FIRST people you'll get help from, haha. Best group of people you could ever meet. I'll bring some tools and supplies this time, haha. Along with the $20 I owe Bert.

I don't believe it! There's a meeting this Saturday...and I'm not working! WHEE!
Not 100% sure if I'm coming or not, as I have to puppy-sit this weekend, but I'll see if I can make it.
Also in some more positive news, I think that I'm finally going to fix the FB (that nobody has seen since the MSCCNC dyno day last fall) and get it back on the road! Of course, this also means that if I come this weekend I will be once again bringing the girlie-car.
