The county mounties have to see us and then catch us to give us a ticket! Any good back roads up in Statesville area to drive? It was such a blast to get out and do what we all want to do most with our cars, no not maintenance or repairs but drive'em, drive'em fast on curvy roads. Are you going to be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas? I know of some more back roads in Franklin and Granville counties that have some 90 mph straight aways, the only trouble is at night the deer want to come out and play.

Barry, great idea, what's the speed limit of the parade? Can the high school bands march at 60 mph and are Garner's streets curvy with some decent elevation change? I'd sure like to tangle with the Shriner clowns on their cute little motorcycle thingies.

Speaking of Christmas, are we all in for adopting Mary's kids for Christmas? Christina will find out about what their needs are and what Mary would approve of for gifts, not greasy, used rotary parts, and everyone can decide what they want to do for them. This sound OK for our group?

First of all, @ marching band bowling!

Secondly...
Let's do a secret santa thing, instead at her house... and put Mary and her kids in the mix. That way she won't feel like it's a charity, ya know? I asked her about it today at church, and she said we were more than welcome to come up for a Christmas party. I'll start brainstorming, if y'all would, too... and we'll come up with a weekend before Christmas to do it! Let's try to make it a good turn-out.

Eric, let us know when you're planning to go home for the holiday, because we'll probably be having the party early enough before Christmas that you might be able to make it! Oh... and PM me your phone #. You never gave it to me. LOL

With 305 RWHP at 15 psi Ill try to keep up.
I left out early Sat morning at 3 am. Pulled the cover off tiffany and away we went. I met Charlie (carenden on the forum) in woodbridge and headed to DE. He has a VR FD with a holset single turbo. After two traffic jams we arrived at our destination. Steve did an awesome job. It appears I was loosing fuel pressure and going toward lean at the top end. Ill investigate further. I headed to Va beach around 7 pm arrived about 1230am So I was awake for 22 hrs but never got tired cause I was with Tiffany. The dynos went as follows

Charlie single turbo 353

FD 99 spec twins all cats 273

Me 307 , but the printed dyno sheet shows 305.

Sound like the trip through country was fun.

Here are a couple of pics Ill post more later. I ready for bed.

*wiggles in seat* ...Tiffany's even MORE attractive than she was to LOOK at now... sounds like she knows how to "put out!" Reow!

Guess it's kinda cool that I got to look up the back of her skirt, then. ...if only David would let me post that pic! Guess you'll just have to keep it in your memory from when he took it.

Sweet numbers johny! Much better then that shop in florida was able to put out. I never did understand how they only got like 250 out of your car with all the mods you had. How much Hp were you orginally puting out before it was tuned?

Steve,
I originally had 278 Now I tuned to 305 I wasn't real crazy about the dynopack. It bolted to the rear hubs, mine tended to vibrate some and I know some HP was lost.
But basicly same Mods it was a lot cooler in DE. It actually lost or stayed the same withe the water Inj (ran it both ways) I'm sure it will be safer especially in the summer.
Dyno Pics

Just noticed the torque difference old 216 new 304 Damn I guess a tune isn't just a tune

You can have mine, Josh... it would be a great project car. ...Just as long as you're willing to trade the FD for my FC.

Sorry... not trying to insult the ultimate value and beauty of Black Betty. Hehe. I just want a frickin FD!!

Johnny, dynapacks suck. I think they are supposed to be off by at least 5% or so compared to a dynojet. I got my car on a dynapack last year and it only put down 157 uncorrected.

Sorry I couldn't make it out to the drive over the weekend. I had a bunch of girls over

Johny, the numbers sound great. Josh has a couple of cops he wants you to play with for him. I think there is one in Roxboro and one in Rawley. Beautiful car and great power. Now, when can you bring her down for a RRDI and some fun. I guess we'll see Tiffany at VIR on the 9th and get some pics of her and her proud daddy?

She should be a show all her own at Deals Gap this year. You gonna get a trailer and her own canopy to keep the harsh sun from spoiling her delicate complexion? She is a real show car now, not a daily driver anymore. Glad you made it up and back safely. Now the fun begins!

Dan, that area is close enough to the RRDI locations that we could meet and do some driving before the meets some weekends. I know everyone really enjoyed driving the "3 County Tour" for the scenery, fall colors, and dodging all the oncoming head lights. Next time we all agree with Perky girl to get on the roads a lot sooner to do more daytime driving so that they can actually see what's coming. We'll do the next 3 County Tour when you're available to show us some real roads.

It wasn't 'til I got my rotary that I realized that asphalt was an aphrodisiac!

Yeah they said add 5 to 10 % to the number but its hard to convince anyone unless its on the dyno sheet.

I posted pics from the dyno so...... where are your pics from your weekend

Girl scout troops don't count. Unless you're practicing to be Josh's understudy.

Yep that was me. I saw your car in the parking lot, and about had a heart attack because it was an FC, before I remembered that you worked there.

Were you the tall guy washing the salad bar? I thought it was you, but when I looked for you after paying David's car payment, you were gone.

Oh... and today, on the way to school, I saw a Red S5 N/A... gorgeous condition... taking the 40E exit... they had out of state plates... but it was some really cute girl driving it. I was so tempted to chase her down if I wasn't heading to school. She didn't even acknowledge me, though, so I guess she didn't realize the fabulous-ness of her vehicle. ...That, or she was embarrassed to have her gorgeous one next to my heap. LOL

About two minutes after passing her, I saw a white S5 N/A going on the outer loop of 440... heading west... so I'm not sure why, but damn... I was being teased by the sexy S5's today.

That would be hilarious... You should come to Advance and get some APC crap... The funny part is that especially since your car IS fast, the rice thing would really confuse people! After they laugh at your car, they will try to race you, but all they can do is eat a rotary fireball. mwahahaha!!

yay for FD's!
