I am really ashamed of all of you. Let me ask you these questions and think about your responses before you answer:
What is the price of a smile?
How much does joy go for now days?
Can you tell me what you'd be willing to pay for personal commitment or the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you solve a problem that has been plaging you for months?
How about the feeling of confidence and pride, what are they worth?
You small thinkers who would let $2.55 gallon gas get between you and the greatest things in life. Joy, smiles, satisfaction, and pride are way more expensive than $3 a gallon and much harder to find than cheap gas or a cheap car.
Buy a KIA or even Honda, but you'll not be happy or content. If you would sell these priceless treasures so cheaply then maybe you're not deserving of them to begin with!
You get what you pay for and You pay for what you get!

with gas prices going up, i have been considering a moped. this is ridiculous. i say we go suck alaska dry, and build another 4 oil refiniries. ecosystem be damned. i want $1.50 93 octane AGAIN!.
i may have to retire the 7 as a museum piece sometime soon, perhaps go to the dark-side, with a supra, or vette. at least they get 25+mpg vs my 15(rolling downhill)
i'm not particularly fond of our fearless leader, but if he would bring those gas prices down, i would lobby to have him elected president, for a 3rd term.

Typical FD owner, you should have gone on to say josh that it must be 55-85 degrees out side, with less the a 30% chance of rain, and there must not be any wetness on the road. LOL
Anyways, I only have about a month untill i am moving to the charlette area. There is a good chance that the land that my parents own, which is also where all my parts are stored, might be selling in the next couple of months. So basically, i dont have time or the room for all these parts. If any of you guys want to come and take some of this stuff off my hands, fell free to do so. I'm not going to say i'm going to give this stuff away, but i will be very reasonable. I dont have any aftermarket parts, mostly stock s4 na and TII parts. I have a nice sunroof with no rust, a nice set of BBS wheels with center caps. Some gray dash pieces. TII rear differential. Aluminum spare tires and lots of other stuff. Just feel free to come out and take a look at my inventory, there has to be something of value to you.

You guys are funny.................oil prices are driven by things that are out of either repubs or democrats hands. They are what they are...........im sure that GWB would lower gas prices if he could........would do wonders for his approval rating, but its out of his hands too.
Dont get me wrong GTU, I love my FC.........but its beyond love and a smile..........its about simple practicality of not having to spend 40+ a week going to work.....not counting weekend and fun driving.

Do you have the tracks for the sunroof? My motor works but haven't been able to get the sunroof to retract after popping up. It won't even retract manually, I'm thinking the tracks or the linkage to the motor is bad.

You're right there is no substantial, short-term solution to this problem but the oil prices we see today are directly attributable to the lack of exploration and development for the last 30 years. Government regulation made the costs of exploring and drilling new wells exceed the profits that could be made from selling the expected oil recovered. Therefore as a result of direct governmental intervention in the exploration and refining processes they effectively discouraged the domestic production of oil and other fossil fuels.

Speaking of high gas prices...
This might get me excommunicated, but I'm tossing around the idea of getting rid of my FC (was gonna do this anyway, I never drive it in favor of the GSL-SE these days) and getting a Miata as a daily driver. If anyone knows anyone who'd want to swap an older Miata for a nice FC, let me know. Otherwise, my FC may be for sale sometime soon. It's a damn shame such a beautiful car never gets driven.

I found out what the mystery turbo was. Its a http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEVE...bayphotohosting . So now that i know what it is i will sell it. Since the buy it now is $379 and mine is new i will let it go for $350. Thats a little savings and no shipping to pay.

Bert, i do have a set of 4 piston calipers, i might even have two sets if your thinking about getting another 7 anytime soon. I still think you need to get a TII for the next tail of the dragon, you were pushing that N/A pretty hard, i think you might even be able to stay with the Leverett boys with the right car
Johny, i still have the hood, Ray has had his eyes on it for a while now in case you dont want it. I have to keep the barn locked just to keep him away from it
I have been thinking about getting an SRT-4 as well. It is a quick car for the price, i guess only time will tell how reliable they really are. Right now with school and my financle situation, i'm just putting 7's on the back burner. I have even though about selling all my 7's. I dont want to, but i know once i get out of school and making the $60k a year that they promise, i will have much more fun with it. Go ahead call me a traiter, I can take it.

Yes stina, I do want you to get an SRT...that way we can both have an SRT and a rotary lol. And smoken...if you have any questions about the SRT-4 I can help or if you want the best answers go to srtforums.com and subscribe and start posting. Most SRT owners are very nice and weasy to get along with...but there is a selection of...ash....hoooooles...like there is anywhere any more, lol. As for reliability, here's a small taste of how reliable they SHOULD be...not gonna promise, cause like you said, only time will tell, but...the SRT was designed at the last minute...THAT doesn't instill much hope I know...but most cars take a long time to make...so the designers have time to test and find where they can "shortcut" the mechanics(ie plastic pieces instead of metal and not so solid apex seals for those FD's and other rotary motors as an example you guys have seen first hand).. Because of the short time to fabricate the SRT-4 there was no time to shortcut anything. It had to be flawless without error or it would fail in the market. Every year has kept the same motor...it wasn't changed. That's why it was only around for 3 years(it's been discontinued). They weren't making any money off of it. Because of this the motor is nearly bulletproof...if you have doubts do a search on the internet...I think you'll be pleased with the findings Sorry that was so long.

understandable. and true enough. But I like em...you can't expect everyone to want an SRT-4 though...that's the wonder of being individuals...we can all have our own opinions and it makes us unique. I like RX-7's, but I preferred a new car this time around. I've owned 5 used cars...I was ready for a change in pace. My next ride will be an FC though. I want it as a second car. That's why I'm posting more in here...hoping some rotary knowledge might actually sink into my thick skull, lol. Never owned a rotary and just learned how it works since I started dating Stina. She was kind enough to explain it, lol.

You know what's funny we are complaing about gas prices while we pay more for a gallon of bottled water then we do gas, which actually requires work and a process to refine. I saw a bottle of water in an airport the other week that was $2.25, no one is complaining about that or saying we need government controlled bottled water prices.

Because we have a choice weather or not we want to buy it. Hell, i'll just drink water out of the tap. Its hard to do anything without gas though....
