Update: My turbo is back on, mission accomplished. I can now hold a solid 8psi all the way to redline. I already ordered a boost controller so I can dial it in right where I want it, 10-12psi. Also I had to relace the damn headlight switch, but I believe that is unrelated.

I'll print out a bunch and also some flyers and bring them to the next drive-in, that won't be until the 28th since I'm out of town next weekend for a family wedding in TN.
I really go a laugh when I walked up to the car and saw that card on stuck on the door. I hate I missed you at Best Buy and the Mother's Day Drive-In. I guess it was just for FD'ers.

The porting looks good. The web site Boostcontrollers .com has been awesome. What about coming to VIR in June?.
I'm heading to Fla to get "Rolo" to install and tune my microtech on may 23.

Johny, Thanks. I just ordered another boost controller from those guys as well.
What's the scoop on this VIR event?
Greg, I mean like in about a month or so, I'm going back to the dragon. I'll have my boost issues fixed, gonna get some new suspension goodies. June, maybe July, I'll have a long weekend for Independence day, hmmmm? We can go out there any weekend, drive out on a Friday night, drive the dragon all day Saturday, then drive home on Sunday. That's a lot of driving in one weekend, only the most hardcore rotary enthusiasts...

Jason, glad to see you got the Waste gate porting done. Looks at least as good as the one done in the most recent issue of RX Tuner.
Were you able to get to the air show this past weekend? If so how did it go? One of the guys I work with went down and said it was a great show and a beautiful day.
The VIR thing Johny mentioned was the Mazda Driver's Class on Father's Day weekend. I think they had 170+ slots for the driving class and they all filled up quickly. If you aren't in the class then they let everyone there get on the track during the lunch break and take some laps to get a feel for driving the race course. I think you get about a 20 minute session on the track. it is a blast. In December they have a Holiday Laps day during the week as a charity event. You donate $25 to the designated charity and you get to drive a 20-30 minute track session. You can drive as many times as you can afford. Now that is a blast. We should have a good turnout from the group for that event in December. Johny, Christina, and one of my sons, Dan, went up last year. Johny & Dan put on a pretty poor drifting exhibition last year, and it was almost as much fun as driving the dragon. If you can get off on a Friday then you should plan on diriving up with us.

Ugh. My GSL-SE is sick again. Now...massive oil leaks.
I'm seriously thinking about selling both of my RX-7's now and getting either a really nice first gen or a decent condition T2. If anyone is interested in buying or selling, let me know.

Found a red '89 GTU for sale today. $2150.00
It's off Old Wake Forest Road (the road that Red Lobster is on)...
-Paint looks decent... faded on headlights and near headlamps on the hood
-No sunroof (grrr)
-131K miles on engine (not sure if it's original, and what all is done to the motor.)
-Black interior
-JVC CD player
-aftermarket steering wheel with red accents... and maybe some other dash goodies... couldn't tell cuz the car was in the shade with pollen all over it.
-Clean title.
A friend of the owner drove up and spoke with me, since he noticed I had a yellow one parked right beside it... teehee. He was a bit blown away by the fact that a FEMALE knew the differences between an S4 model and an S5 (apparently he doesn't know RX-7s. HA.)
Anywho, the car is in decent shape... no visible flaws, the rims are original... at least I am pretty sure they are... they look like the ones from a vert... so I am not positive that they are GTU rims.

She's a beauty... she's just BEGGING to be driven! ...She just doesn't have a sunroof, which sucks major booty... but oh well... I may end up getting an after-market one for mine, cuz I hate being so cooped up in the car during the summer.
Anyone know of a good place in the area that does aftermarket sunroofs... who do a REALLY good job?? (Who won't overcharge...)
