well if they were witty enough to notice that thier cars were cobras, or the vipers and they would have to make the reference to snakes and venom then they would have to deduce that you are the "anti" venom...not too sure if they would get it

Hope everyone had a good trip up to TOTD. Wish I could have made it, but on a positive note I DID get new wheels on the vert...and tires. Had them installed on Friday while everyone was driving up. Went to 16x7 ICW wheels. They are (of course) heavier than stock, but nothing too outrageous. I went with the stock Turbo II tire size of 205/55-16 with BF Goodrich G Force Sports. Now I just feel like I need to replace the original 15 yr old / 110k mile shocks... It never ends !!!

well the cobra guys usually run around with license plates that say things like "lethal venom" or "all venom" being that my brother has a cobra i wanted to do it so i could annoy the mustang guys. Also, we ran into a Viper RT/10 that read "Quick Venom" Really any of these guys with a snake on their cars would be irritated.

I might just be lame and put my HP once i get it tuned. like "450RWHP" or something like that.

I'm keeping my plate ideas a secret... until I get my car fixed. hehe...

What's the next big "rotary event" going to be? I really want to go this next time around. Isn't there something in May? I can't remember... but I am so sad I missed TOTD. We should plan one for this fall!! What do you guys think?

we were talking about doing a Raleigh drive this fall. getting a couple of cabins and just squeezing everyone in.

i would love to go back so i could test the FD.

I dunno, I have been talking it over with a few people, and i might just skip the license plate thing. might bring too much unwanted attention from other owners, and popo.

i was thinking actually thinking this summer it would be perfect temperature too. i would love to go then because i will be in charlotte for college next year

as a side note; it seemed like some of our turbo cars were having trouble handling the heat. the heat might be too high for summer. with the constant uphill, boosting, and open throttle. the demands were equal to and probably higher than an average track event.

What do y'all think about a local RRDI event for this summer? Like a camping trip at Falls lake or something? I can't remember which lake allows people to park near their vehicles... but a camping trip would ROCK.

Yeah, I forgot about how evil turbos are during hot weather. If we had an event that didn't require so much driving, that would be good.

the 'Down East' meet in May
VIR Mazda Driving School in June
GRR, part deux, in late summer (maybe we could incorporate the camping trip; beer, bonfires, camping, and rx7s).
Deal's Gap or 'Atlanta Shootout' in fall
