well here is the deal fellas. i don't care if we pack the cabin down. i just don't know how to break it down money wise.
so far it is like this: we have a 3 bedroom cabin. one king size, one queen size, and a two twins room. as it stands i was going to give johny the king, me the queen, and christina the two twins. however, christina said she wouldn't mind sharing a bed with her man if we could get the shares cheaper.
i don't mind bunking with someone else. the problem like i mentioned earlier is i snore most of the time, so you would have to be a heavy sleeper or used to snoring.
this is the list i have for possibles in sharing the cabin:
Taylor and some of his boys
Steve, his bro, and some friends
Joey
if you guys don't mind crashing in sleeping bags i guess we can fit 2-4 guys in the living room.
Personally, I think we can probably let one of the two groups to crash in the cabin. the other group could get a room at the inn and split it 3-4 ways. I think the rate at the inn is like $50-75 a night. however, i don't mind sleeping in close quarters, and in a desparate situation we could probably pack in everyone.
i guess i am throwing this out there, because i want as many people as possible to come as possible.
anyhow, you guys can post or PM me with thoughts and ideas on how you wanna try and do it.

Well, I'll go ahead and let you guys know that I'm a very big procrastinator! (its really not my fault though, haha) Especially with school and all and not having some exam schedules. I prolly won't know if i can go until a week in advance (maybe 2). So Josh, I would feel really bad if you saved us a spot and we didn't go. So for now, don't include me. If we do go though, we'll either just rent one of those rooms nearby or distribute the money directly to you guys in some sort of fashion.

Sorry I couldn't make it out to the last meeting guys, I was busy. Well, supposedly all my parts except from my turbo are in at Rotorsports but still no sign of the turbo. Innovative drop shipped it to the wrong customer and he shipped it back to Rotorsports, it was suppost to get here Tuesday. Anybody know anyone who wants some good condition 87 TII seats I am putting mine up on ebay. There is nothing wronmg with them at all they are in mint condition. I will be getting the RX-8 repainted soon with a awesome ghost design in it.

Maybe we should've gotten two cabins. The Inn rooms are $49/night.
I can check with Fontana and see if I can switch from the room I have to a cabin if we need some extra beds. How many, if any, are staying on Sunday to drive the Cherhola SKyway and return on Monday?

Grand Rotary Rally Of NC Shirts
I am going to a graphics shop this afternoon for the plaques and trophies for Deals Gap. I am also going to check what screen printing they can do and try to get the best deal I can on the awards and our GRR shirts.
We'd talked about getting ash or gray shirts with the GRR Logo done but several people were interested in getting black shirts with the red & white GRR logo. I'd prefer to go with the black shirts but I need some feedback. Anyone care which shirt color we do? Speak up if you are opposed to a black shirt and I'll sitck with teh gray background and the black and red logo. Here is what it will look like on black:
Please let me know today since my appointment with them is at 5:00 today. I'll go with the consensus.

our thread is moving too far down the first page, so i am gonna give an update of my weekend work.
i didn't get the engine in like I'd hoped. A small SNAFU involving the bolts for my motor mounts not being long enough, after installing the Gotham Oil Pan Brace, delayed it til next weekend.
i did however, get everything else done, except my battery relocation. that means next weekend when the engine goes back in all I will have to do is the various vacuum hoses and I will be ready to give the car a test crank and see how it is running. After that I will do the relocation; i think hearing the engine running will be just the motivation I need to get the rest done.
Hopefully if all goes well I will have it back together in time to do some more powdercoating before TOTD. This means I might be able to represent the RRDI, alongside T.O., at the event.
I am so excited i might pee myself! It should be running by the second meet in March. However, when I show up there can be no mockery of the mismatched engine scheme I have going. I have some stuff coated and some not, so it looks a bit like a rainbow of silvers, blues, and grays in there.
Anyhow, hope everyone and their cars are doing well.

Ah spring break has arrived. This week I'll be working some, then delivering a new headlight assembly to the guy who is working on my car. Then I'm going to help Steve get his Turbo II running before we head out to Myrtle Beach on Friday for a large gathering of 3000GT/Stealths. I might even get the GTU back before then, but I'm not counting on it.

Hey y'all... for those of you who have met Scott, I need you to do me a favor... please write up an email of encouragement to him... and I can mail it this week. he's going through alot in boot camp right now, and he needs as many people as possible to send their love.
My email is perkystina@hotmail.com If you guys can get around to it... it would be awesome. Just put in the subject line "scott" and I will print it out and send all of them at once. I think I will need them by like, Wednesday, so I can get them sent in time for him to get them.
Thanks guys...
See y'all Saturday!! YAY!

Hey Josh, *all* you will have to do are the vacuum hoses? Heh. I seem to remember someone talking about nearly going insane trying to get those hooked up correctly in an FD, there was cursing and throwing of things. Good luck!
Hey Horse, any luck getting a pic of those seats?
