*sniff* sorry guys... hate to break the news, but I am going out of town on Friday to Norfolk to see David.

It will be interesting to drive those long 4 hours all by myself. **scary**

Good practice for the trip in April.

Anyway, talk to y'all on here, otherwise, I will see ya at the meeting after this coming one.

Hey Rob,
Since we will have same turbo from A-spec, when you chat with them again, can you also help to verify if stock radiator and cooling hoses can fit with GT35R turbo or need buy speical size?
I have tried to contact with them today but they are moving to a new site this week and can't be reached. Thanks and looking forward to see your car once everything is done.

Well i'm pretty sure that I can answer this for you. I don't really know much about your car (nothing really) but if you've got a different intercooler (I'm assuming) then you've probably put your radiator upright. Since A-Spec marketed it as a "kit" then it will work with the stock radiator (in the upright position). If it works with any radiator then it will definately work with the stock one.

Rob,
Thank you for your help in advance! Looking forward to get your finding.

Tookwik,
I have Greddy FMIC set up. I think you are correct about the stock one.

The the rest of guys,
I am looking for some cooling and raditor hoses, any idea where I can get them good and cheap??

I would agree with tookwik, since the kit will fit with aftermarket radiators it will surely fit with the stock one since it is the same with yet smaller. I will still ask if you want me to or if you feel it will be ok I just won't ask, just let me know.

I think summitracing has some pretty cool steel braided radiator hoses. As for the length of them... You'll just have to measure the ones you have now and get the closest one cuz they're definately not cutable.

Here ya go

Rob, if you don't mind, go ahead and ask anyway, it will help both of us address this issue as we have a very similar setup. Good luck with your GT35R turbo, you will be impressed when it arrives.

Anyone knows a good place to get FD the state inspection quickly within triangle area without too much hassel? By hassel, I mean the person know what they are doing and can pass a stock condition FD quickly.

Andy,

I remember at that meeting I met you at that someone said go to Just Inspections here in Raleigh. Said that one of the guys there races or used to race RX7s or something so he will know what to do with even heavily modded ones.

agreed. actually the owner still races a 1st gen, and one of the guys has a nice 2nd gen he is building.

As for my car, the engine is back together. i have to make some urethane mounts and it will go back in next weekend, hopefully. After that I have mount the Apexi FMIC, relocate the battery, and wait for my watercooled SP63 to come in.

I need to post some pics of the poweder coating, it came out really nice IMO.

*big pouty lip*

Guysss... Amanda can't come with me to Deal's Gap... so I gotta go by myself. Her prom is that Saturday, otherwise she was definitely coming. I don't wanna drive alone, though.

Josh or Taylor, do you have anyone riding with you, or can I be your passenger? I promise I won't nag ya to let me drive... I'd rather be the camera chick, anyway. Driving would be fun, but my car may not be able to handle Deal's Gap, anyway, cuz she keeps having enough NORMAL problems. I'll even split the cost in gas with ya.

Hopefully one of y'all will need someone to keep your passenger seat warm up in those gorgeous mountains! I really wanna go, and that would still keep our price pretty fair in the Cabin. The room plans we can figure out later, I just wanna figure out if I can still go, without having to drive alone.

My boyfriend **MIGHT** be able to go, but he probably has duty that weekend on his ship.

So I am just planning to do it this way, cuz I wanna go whether or not someone can come with me.

I'll see if i have room, Originally my friends with the supra and m3 wanted to tag along (one riding with me) the other driving their own car. I'll ask them though, at the moment it doesn't look like one is coming so.... all i can do is wait to find out. I'll let you know though, especially if nobody else has room.

Kay. I don't wanna be extra cargo, tho... so just let me know if it's not possible.

I am not sure if Josh had someone riding with him, so maybe I can be his FD buddy.

............that's the ONLY kind of "F" buddy I will be for y'all, tho.

okay... thanks! I feel special

Being an FC buddy is just as good as an FD buddy... I have an FC, so it would be nice to ride in someone else's to see what I gotta work on with mine.

I'd like to drive, and I will still be thinking seriously about it... but I doubt I will, cuz it will be lonely in my car through all of that.

I'm hoping David will be able to get out of Navy duty, and he might be able to go. But like I said, I doubt it, so I want to make plans to have the option of going still.

If I drive alone, I will Jerry-rig a tripod with a camera on it in my passenger seat so we have footage of tail of the dragon.

Josh, Taylor given all the mods and changes y'all are making I think one of you should rent a Batman costume and wear it to the first Drive-In that you bring your cars to. Christina could get a Catwoman costume and y'all drive up together.

Everyone except the perky-girl gonna make it to the Char Grill this Saturday? Can anyone now take her seriously as an FC owner? She is gonna pass up a drive-in to see a guy that doesn't even drive a rotary!

haha, my girlfriend would agree with you on that one. I'll just put it this way... if i go and bring more than 1 other person with me you can definately ride with me. I've seriously gotta get this clutch thing taken care of first though and thats a 50/50 chance for it to be done before the trip. BTW - This has become a waiting game on Pettit because I'm now having to wait on a new friction plate for the flywheel.

Whats up everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that i'm gonna be coming up there at the end of march to have steve(smoken') do alot of work on my car. He's gonna port the turbo, remove the rats nest, install a walbro 255 fuel pump, 720cc secondaries, boost controller, turbo timer, and a SAFC II. oh and he's gonna make another turbo inlet duct like the one he had on his white TII. By then it should be pretty fast and will be good enough for me. Bert, what is the date for the meet?maybe He will have it all done and ready for the meet. anyway I hope to see you all soon and even if he isnt done with the car on sat night then i will still come to see everyone again.
