Possibly Moving to Fort Stewart

Whats up guys? I'm looking into reenlisting to go somewhere new because when i get back from Afghanistan in July my brigade is moving to Fort Bliss from Fort Hood and i dont really want to be in Bliss. I'm from north georgia originally and was wondering if anybody could tell me a little about the Savannah area. Much to do? Anybody actually stationed on Stewart? Let me know. Thanks.

I have been there..great place to be in..3id sucks at times but you can live through it. ft stewart is more of a country side place and savannah is all downtown pretty much. if you are aviation then you are going to savannah..anything else is a 50/50 chance..o unless you are infantry then you are definetly going to stewart. there is a great group on guys that are there that work on anything with a rotary in it..plus there is a awesome tunner in the group..from ft stewart to savannah is about a 30 minute drive..hope this helped..if you have specific questions just m me...
