Sounds like a party Holly!
And that 12A powered TR7 ain't bad either, with those Panasports and all.
I wonder what they did with the Prince of Darkness electrical wiring?

I have a really funny story about my 78 MGB and the smoke they use in the Lucas systems, from back in '93.
I had just parked the B in front of the library on the quad at Amherst College. When I turned off the ignition, smoke started billowing from under the dash.
My dog Surely and I are freaking out. This was a very pretty B, Vermillion Orange with the black MGB racing stripes. Washed and waxed.
And I'd just gotten everything fixed, which lasts about 1 day in a B. Here's what she looked like, except mine had the big black MGB racing stripes down the side:
I'm thinking we need to disconnect the battery before we have a big fire.
So I desperately try to get to the battery, which is behind the back seats under a metal panel with a tie down that needs a special tool to be opened.
To complicate the matter, there's a tour group walking by and I'm trying to act like there's nothing going on, so as not to loose my job.
Some raised eyebrows, but I convinced them that everything was cool.
But I never did get the battery cable disconnected and that B just kept on smoking.
But fortunately, after about 5 minutes, the Lucas wiring system ran out of smoke and the car didn't catch fire.
Which is why MG used smoke instead of electricity to power the headlights and starter.
True story.

Ray,
The bright spot is you have a beautiful LE to distract you, maybe if you get busy it will keep you distracted till he runs again!
Damn, that thought makes me want to throw up!

Trump has one redeeming feature: He's a pathological liar who never ever does what he says he's going to do.
And given the **** he spouted during this campaign that's a good thing.
The New Reality is that he is our next President and I'm hoping for the best.
After all, he's a Democrat in wolf's clothing, a man who shuns principle in favor of making a buck.
As such, he may be preferable to the Republicans who confuse their own warped ideology with American principles.
Indeed, I'm an optimist and remain hopeful that he will be the Great Uniter that no Democrat or Republican seems capable of these days.
We'll see.
I just hope he can stay hinged, if not we should be afraid, very afraid.
The LE is sweet indeed Robert, here's some pics for the folks who limit their reading to the OGTA thread:

If you'd like any help with Cathy's Jeep, I'd be happy to lend a hand. After years and years of talking about it, I picked up my own Wrangler earlier this month.
Nice looking Jeep Brett, and congratulations for not going 4 door.
My RX-7 history is simple and rationale:
1) The White One I, II and III (84 GSL, 85 GSL, 85 GS(L), all red leather interior)
2) The Silver One I, II and III (85 GSL, 84 GSL and 83 LE, all red leather interior)
3) The Tan One (84 GSL) and the Brown One (85 GSL, both brown leather interior)
Hey, you're pretty good with GPS, could you check and see it the cabin we stay in up at Deal's Gap has burned down yet?
