You should have held on to that GSL, nice looking car!

I got a pm from a new guy, name's John, lives in Buford, who has recently come into an RX-3.

He was asking about advice on tuning and I told him an OGTA meeting is the place to find it.

So hopefully he'll stop by tomorrow evening, with the RX-3 if it doesn't go into the paint shop this evening.

And I'm still trying to figure out who this guy is, hopefully he'll bring that sweet yellow SA to the meeting tomorrow night:

Is Billy still planning to show up in his Project X?
"Well intended experiments that really didn't work "...????hmmm. I didn't see any 12a rotors stacked up in fours winning LeMans!! Guess Carlos and I will have to start a new chapter.. We'll call it OGTB.. That way 12a guys can be "honorary" members of our new group... What ya say Carlos?!?

"OGTB" has already been considered Paul. So was "YGTB".

But "OGTB" and "YGTB" just don't roll off the tongue like "OGTA" does. 13B's have no magic.

So the 13B efforts failed, 12A's still Rule and we are still the Old Guys with 12A's Club Meeting.

On a historical note, the 106th monthly OGTA meeting, an unbroken string now in its ninth year, is tonight.

See y'all at the Taco Hack, film is in the camera!

I respectfully disagree having been to mid Ohio many times and only saw 13b's out there doing their magic.. Never saw a 12a out there.. Not enough *** to keep up.BUT I agree, OGTA does roll off the tongue quite nicely.. CARLOS!!! Help me out buddy!!

You have to remember that the last time Ray had a running rotary, the 13b had not been invented. The best rotary Ray has ever experienced has been the assless 12a, bless his heart...

Aren't digital cameras kind of like fuel injectors? Strictly for wusses?

Real Men have carbs and use photographic emulsions.

On the 12A thing, out in my guest room I've got the Train Wreck 12A, built by Robert Watson Himself.

And enough excellent rotors and rotor housings to build 4 more 12A's, one with street porting.

Not to mention all those mint interior parts, suspension upgrades and 15" Panasports.

All going into the White One III, an FB with magic and karma galore.

Did someone say something about Credentials? Someone who doesn't even have a carburetor?

See you at the meeting Tommy! I got an extra can of bug spray for the FE infestation.

So now you are building a 10-rotor 60a? This I gotta see...

We wouldn't be able to use the parts in the Train Wreck 12A Tommy, that one is Sacred.

But we could do an 8-rotor 48A, would it fit in the Miata?

That is a nice picture Paul, especially for digital! Damn near emulsion quality.

I do like the Porche, not very pretty but a fine hunk of machinery.

But I like your FB a lot better.

We'll see who shows up tonight, it's always most impressive when there are a bunch of SA's and FB's.

And the Old Schools of course, they take the show.

But I'll take pictures of the FE's too.

Hey, did y'all hear that Ted Cruz's father helped assassinate President Kennedy?

It's true, they've got pictures of it. Trump's people uncovered the story.

Makes a lot of sense now that you think about it.

That porche looks like a FC to me.. Red, fat and slow. All kidding aside I found that 944 for my friend for only $2200.00 and not a speck of rust..only 56k on it too. I'd've bought it myself but ran outta room in my garage.

Good to hear you are over your FC fetish Paul!

Next thing we'll have you in a REPU, or a carb'd FB at least.

I wish you were showing up tonight, we could use some insight at the Business Meeting on Republican politics.

I mean, if they know who killed Kennedy, imagine what else they know.

Headed out, no more comments from the Peanut Gallery until I load the pictures later tonight.

Ray besides you convincing me, just the thought of too much maintenance scared me away from FC's and D's.as for E's(?) I never really liked em. My buddy mike had one. I drove it. It was spirited but it just didn't feel right. I'm AOK right where I am. You guys have fun and be careful getting home tonight. Can't wait to see the pics.. How long we gotta wait for the pics to get back from Fotomat??

I've been in the darkroom since I got home an hour ago, should have them up by 1-2 am.

It was a fantastic meet! Not enough SA's and FB's but the New Guys and Old Schools made up for those deficiencies, promising even better things down the road.

More later, back to the darkroom for now.

May 3, 2016 OGTA Report with Pictures!

The 5-3-16 OGTA Meeting was this evening and it was a good one.

A perfect blend of Old and New.

The highlights were Phil’s pristine Yellow SA, Gene’s now furless RX-4, Greg the Younger’s Tornado Gray FB and New Guy John’s Invisible Red RX-3.

(John, a crazy New Zealand guy, made his first OGTA appearance, but his RX-3 had a date with the paint shop. He promises we’ll actually get to see the RX-3 next time).

Cam brought his Red Miata, which he says has a turbo. But being a boinger it’s kind of hard to figure out what’s going on under his hood so I took his word for it.
