Old guys with 12As club meeting

Thanks for your offer to help Brett. Tommy just left and I now have full temperature control settings back in the 8. THANK YOU TOMMY! I'm glad Tommy was checking this website. This was the only place I posted and Tommy happened to respond within hours of my post, and he was in the middle of doing a major house project. I've always said the rotorheads are awesome, but you OGTA's are even much more awesome. You'd think after all these years I wouldn't be amazed and wondered at all the support, but I am. It never seems to get old.
I'm very thankful for rotorheads. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Glad you got it fixed, Holly!
Turns out the aluminum radiator I installed in the RX7 had a leak, so I spent the afternoon putting my old radiator back in and cleaning up the cars. If the FC stays leak free, I'm going to try to make it out to Tuesday's meet.

Dang it, I got sick over the weekend and am still recovering. I'm not make it this month.
On a positive note, I just sold my 4.30 lsd diff. I'm that much closer to a new RB exhaust on the SE!

OK, I confess. I thought the December meeting was next Tuesday, not tonight. Curse the Rotary Gods.
In the mean time, check this out:

I planned on coming out, but I ended up working late and the more I thought about the FC having shitty tires, the less appealing the ~30 mile drive was to me...
On the other hand, if things work out like I'm hoping they will, what I might drive to the January OGTA meet will more than make up for missing tonight's...

So that is what goes on over there at that Mercer Divinity College, who would have thought?
You no-shows missed a great OGTA meet last night. I apolgize for Kristy's tardiness in not posting the 12A count yet, but it suffices to say it was an awesome turnout. You should have been there.
I had to drive my SA (SkyActive). Apparently, I was harder on the Blue One's transmission than even I had feared, at my recent track day. Now the only gear she will go into in neutural. Does not make much speed in that gear, but she can red line in a heartbeat. Oh well, I guess I have a project for the holidays.
It was quite a trip getting it home...
Getting it on the tow dolly was fine.
But then about 3 miles down the road.
And over 2 hours later, U-haul came and fixed the tire
Finally it made it home.

Ray, your right it didn't happen for YOU, since you weren't there to take pictures. But I remember 36 points too.
Brett, looks like more points for the new year. Nice. Will that be Tara's daily?

She's been driving the truck more lately to get used to the manual transmission. If she gets good enough in the FC or FB I'm going to try to get her to drive one of them to the January OGTA meet!

Sounds good Brett. We can make a run at the 36 12A points from the December meet, but that will be hard to top. I don't know if I can get the little blond waitress and her twin sister to come to the Jan OGTA, but if Ray would come, I give it a try.
