I'll be at Tilted Kilt, since no one has changed it yet. But, I plan to eat at Bonefish Grill across the street because I would like to enjoy the lobster specials

See you guys tonight. 7:00, Tilted Kilt, the cool people show up around 6:30.
Ray, it will be dark by 7:00. Won't be able to work on the house. Might as well wonder out to the Tilted Kilt. We'll get one of those beer towers. That will make you feel better about the time change.
Crit, if you want to change locations, we can add that to the agenda for tonights meeting.

Mike, I generally go to bed when it gets dark, and after a long day on the ladders that's even more likely, so I better skip this one.
Say hey to Jenny for me, and somebody take some pics.
Also, somebody remind Crit to remind the Mods to update his 5 Rotor to a 10 Rotor, he was due at the end of October.
Nice work Crit, welcome aboard!

Crit and Andy laid hands on the Blue One, and walla the nice steady idle in back. ![Nod](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/nod.gif)
Ray, you bring that pile of 12A parts you have to the December meet. I bet if everyone lays hands on the pile of parts, you'll have a running 12A before the business meeting.

Sounds like it was a good meet. So whose got the pics?
Maybe we'll start with bringing in the 12A parts Mike.
I could use help choosing which rotor housings to use, there are different porting options I need to figure out.

I saw your wife in Braselton on Saturday, Ray. I would have honked but I was in the truck, didn't want her to think I was some ******* ![bg](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
So I think I'm going to start looking for another first gen for the wife. Preferably a red 81-83 GSL with a good body and decent paint. A GSL has power windows a sunroof and a disc/ LSD rear, right? I don't want to spend a whole lot. Ideally I would like to find one in good exterior/interior shape minus a motor. I think a ported 13B with a decent carb set up would be fun. She likes the choke on the dash![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Is there any benefit to getting an 84-85 over the 81-83? I like the S2 dash better, and I'm thinking that it will be easier to get a black interior with an S2.

She would have thought you were hitting on her Brett.
She was over at the Braselton library with Darla, one of our therapy dogs, letting the kids read the dog a story.
How 'bout that SE in the picture above? It's already got the 13B and FI, all you need to add is a pair of those tacky black plastic 2nd gen strut covers.

anyone interested in checking that one out for me? i'd hate to drive all that way just to find out it has a lot of rustout.
and what's up with respeed? some threads i've seen suggest they went under?

The deal with the first gen is- the wife's been learning to drive a 5 speed. And she has me convinced that she would drive a manual first gen if we had one. For some CRAZY reason, she would rather have a FB than a FC...
But she is a lady, so she wants power windows and a nice interior. Plus she likes the choke on the dash. But she doesn't like the rear end of the SA, nor does she like the maroon interior... So I'm assuming I would need to find an 81+ GSL. At least that's the plan for now. With a black or grey interior.
Brett, no power sun roofs in 1st gens. Power windows in GSL, GSL-SEs. A GSL or GSL-SE should meet the need. I am not sur about the S2 cars, which had power windows and which didn't. I honestly prefer crank windows, but it was beaotch to try to swap in to the Blus one so kept the power windows, which don't work very well. The zeneth of rotary production cars was the 1985, tender bluse metalic paint, GSL. In case you were wondering.

I think I found a red FB that might be cheap, it's just sitting in the woods by a guys house, I'll try to stop by there tomorrow or Sunday to inquire on it...
And on another note, I've had my FC torn apart for about 2 weeks, the water pump housing to block gasket let go. So I decided to replace that and put a new water pump on since the old one had some bearing noise. I got new OMP gaskets, cleaned a bunch of the gunk off of the front of the motor, a I put in a new-ish metal radiator. Then the only leak left should be the oil pan gasket!

Ah, didn't know that. Although, since I've already posted it to the main for sale section, I probably shouldn't create a duplicate thread, right? Or is it ok to have one in the main section and one in the regional?

You can also put it in the SE section. This can be nice as often people look locally for big stuff (like cars). I can copy the thread for you as long as everything is there that you would like in the local ad.
