YooHoo, the Ace returns. Just like Old Times!
Be good to see you Kevin!
Zach, thanks for making a stab at those Feb OGTA pics. Taking pictures in the dark is no fun.

Kevin, it will be good to see you at the April meet.
Dudes, check this out. Mazda used to make Christmas tree lights:
http://www.oldchristmastreelights.co...lamp_story.htm
I remember those days fondly, the welcoming glow of a hand crafted string of brightly colored bulbs, warmed by the soft glow of a tungsten filament, filling the room with radiance and joy. A real live tree draped with tinsel and hand made ornaments.
Not much resemblance to the LED lights and plastic trees you see these days.
Kind of reminds me of the slippery slope Mazda went down in the 80's, giving up the 1st generation RX-7, a historical high point for the automotive industry, for the modernization that resulted in the decadence called, inappropriately enough, the FC.
In other words, comparing an FC to an FB is like comparing a real Christmas tree bulb to a string of mass produced LED stuff you toss in the trash on New Year's day.
FC's do have that nice feature with the door wiring, however.

Also, speaking of FB's, since we didn't have any photos of the Feb OGTA meeting this year, here's some shots of the Silver One this evening.
Damn she's a fine car.
Also the Blue One, which did carry on the fine FB tradition at the 02-07-12 event.
You guys did notice the OCD's on those units, right?

Out tinkering in the garage today. Seems like a great day to take a ride. One of the advatages of contacting to the goverment is you get federal holidays off. Yeah, Michelle just got home from the hospital yesterday, but I think she will be OK for a couple of hours. You guys think she'll be OK for couple of hours?
Nah, I can't do that to her, but I was tempted.

Federal Holiday? Is today Barack's birthday or what?
Good move on the Michelle decision, you need to stay home. There will be many nice days to take a spin in the FB. Getting Michelle out of the hospital is precious.
Speaking of spinning in an FB, I'll be darned if I didn't see one out on I85N today, on the way home from work. About 3:00 pm, just north of Spaghetti Junction.
You could tell he was a relatively new owner, he was going slow, his headlights were up and there was a big smile on his face.
Pretty car, a black FB with a decent body kit and a little wing on the back. Looked like a new paint job, real slick.
Hope to see him and his car at an OGTA meeting one of these days.

Pics or it didn't happen.
From the front the one out on I85 today looked just like this car, which belongs to Mthead, a new FB owner in the area, so I thought it was him:

But the one on 85 had a little fish tail and some ground effects body stuff. Hope he stops by, looked like a nice FB.

You're my Boy Blue.
Did you watch the youtube video? It's the uncensored version (it's on youtube, so I figured it was OK to show it here, even though this is a family thread).
All the versions I'd seen before were censored, that's all Cathy lets me watch. No wonder he fell over and died.

Greg, those things are kinda like 7s. One end has been known to bite and the noxious fumes come out of the other end. Be careful.

To make up for the lack of fuel injected car photos from the Feb OGTA meet, I present you my FC after a decent bath... Check out my new spoiler, yo!
I also repainted the front trim body colored. I plan on swapping bumpers and trim sometime in the future but for now, this looks much better. I still need to do the side and rear trim.

Finest looking FC I've ever seen Brett!
And Alex, that wouldn't be the SE that used to be black would it? Very pretty.
Amy of you guys over there in the Saudi dessert going to be back in time for the March OGTA?
We'd love to see the REPU Crit!
