I've got some Italian in my in-law's blood. Take out the Fiats and Renaults and they don't make bad cars.

And those Del Horto's are to die for.

Welcome to OGTALA Holly!

Hey, my friggin' sig just showed up!!! Maybe it isn't a conspiracy after all.

Edit:

Whoops, sorry Holly, I see you are OGTALA NOT! I was so excited about my sig coming back that I didn't read your disclaimer correctly.

It is Official, Holly is, of course, a FOUNDING MEMBER of OGTA (Old Gals with 12A's).

OGTALA membership will be restricted to OGTA significant others, the ones that put up with us.

I know, but I don't think there's much functional difference between Renault and Fiat, they both have Italian genes.

Be careful Ray. This sounds like a trap. They are just trying to lure you in to spring something on you.

If I had to bet who "they" are, I would put my money on aliens or big foot. Or, possibly George Bush.

Thanks Mike! That is what I needed to know. Not sure if I'll have the FC running & on the road by then, but I will try to make it anyway.

I definately would not call myself "A guido", but rather the name Guido.
Renault...Now that is just funny! Except for the racing line. Those are nice!

Most likely Sarah Palin Mike, I hear she has the hots for me.

I did a google search and it says that a Guido is a Mexican tour guide, not sure if this is right.

Things are heating up for the Mitty. Are we going to have a movie projector so we can watch Grand Prix on Saturday night?

Hey Dave, don't take that Dellorto apart without talking to me about breaking the tines for the float. There's a particular way to do it.

Yeah I always thought turbos were overrated. Basically it's been all down hill since Mazda retired the Nikki in 1985.

Hello Gents! I am in need of some input...I remembered why I have not done a compression test on my S5 FC3C (WOW! I feel technical! ) I was told it required a special tester for a rotary and using a conventional tester would give false/inaccurate readings. The car is not running, so I can't drive her to get tested.
I normally do not like to cross-post. However, it looks like this thead encompasses all things rotary and yous seem like a great bunch of people. Any help would be much appreciated! I have been dying to get behind the wheel...and ACTUALLY drive!

Mexican tour guide...Too damn funny Ray!!!

a regular compression tester will work, just remove the schrader valve so it doesn't hold pressure.

Ray does this mean if I ever find a worthy significant other, that "he" will be a part of the OGTALA? If so the "L" will have to be interchangeable like the "G" in OGTA. The "L" will have to be Ladies or "Lads"?

At the last OGTA meeting at Twisted Tavern we said we were having a 2nd meeting at the Mall of Georgia Tilted Kilt on Feb. 17th. I just phoned and spoke to Enoch (sp?) they are not yet open, but plan to open on St. Patrick's Day. I doubt we want to join all that, but stay tuned we will meet there soon for a 2nd meeting of the month. Here is the location information in the meantime:

* Tilted Kilt Mall of Georgia
* 3480 Financial Center Pkwy
* Buford, GA, 30519
* 404-704-5373 phone

Not a problem Holly. Your future significant other simply has two choices:

1. He (or she) is already an OGTA in fine standing; not a problem, you are both OGTA's, regardless of your respective sexes.

2. If he (or she) is not an OGTA, but is married to an OGTA, he would be appropriately referred to as a "Lady". So yes, in this case he (or she) would belong to OGTALA.

You sure that Tilted guy's name is "Enoch", not "Eunuch"? I think there are lots of "Eunuch's" over there, that's why they call the place "Twisted Kilts".

I was gonna say great, a 2nd meeting this month I can't make . Either have to work, or I'm picking up my new truck. We'll see.

I have the FB dizzy and coils wired up in the FC. I am still waiting on my rebuild kit for the DelLorto to show up from the U.K. Hopefully in the next couple days. As well I am waiting for the injector plug kit from RB to get here. Also have a set of headers in the works. I am excited to get this running.

On the off chance, Does anyone happen to have a s4 N/A lower intake manifold they could stand to sell me?

Crit, I just used my Hydraulic press to remove the float pin... Was that wrong?...j/k. It is actually just like all the motorcycle ones I work on. However I will take any advice you have to offer as I have zero experience with car carbs.

I've been in there a few times, last purchase was for some intake manifold gaskets. We'd love to see you and the FB at an OGTA get together (March meeting is Tuesday, March 1).

Dave and Zach, I feel your pain about the long travel to Suwanee, but think of it this way. You guys have a demonstrated level of commitment and consequently hold very special status.
