Seriously, I wasn't 'hating' on Austin's old hatch...just simply stating that it was still a Civic, through thick and thin! Not necessarily a bad thing... some times...

Ray, I'm gonna break your camera one of these days! Stop taking pictures of me!

Crit, the suspension rocks...although I kinda wished I'd have bought springs. Not gonna happen for a while though...so no worries of another near sleepless night working on Grace!

What? What about what you told me about getting springs and shocks together? You're confusing lately... :-p

Thanks for that. I did snag a bent to crap stick from Crit. Put it in the vise and she is as good as new

Welp, the 12A held up enough to make it to the dyno today. Got something going on in the upper end I probably need to look at, either ignition, fuel, or since I never balanced the wheels they may have been skipping on the drums. That seems like a long shot though. But it still did 100hp/99ftlb at the wheels. Not bad for a 26 year old motor. It was a 4th gear pull though, boy that took forever. Still need to do the oil cooler though. It doesn't leak (at least much), but temps seemed just a little bit higher than normal.

The FD came out ok too. I had to lift a little at points because I saw more boost than I like at a few times, but I'm pretty sure the peak stuff is correct. It saw 221.4hp/196ftlb if I recall. That seems about right for a stock FD. Good to see that it seems healthy. A little unnerving though to be staring at a wall 20 ft in front of you when the speedo is reading 140 though.

I'm pretty pleased with the 12A though. It's almost putting stock new numbers to the wheels. Not bad with just an exhaust. I'll put up the graphs later.

On a funny side note though, on the way home from there, my buddy and I stopped to get some food. We were sitting inside and could hear a loud car pull up outside, and sit there for a while. Couldn't see it though. I didn't think much of it, until I looked up as I heard him pull away. I had to take a 2nd glance to make sure he didn't just steal my FB. Same exact color (well, except where I have house paint). Looked pretty nice. I wonder if he is on here. I didn't get a chance to give him a card.

Congrats on the numbers Tim. Sounds like you are right on for stock FB & FD. I squeezed a little more out of my stock FD the 1st time I dynoed it at 56K miles .. it was 225.7 RWHP.

Yeah, I know. It just sucked for the people who's scheduled dyno times had to be pushed back because those pulls took 10 minutes each .

Well, here are quick snapshots. I'll actually scan them when I go to work. It looks like I lifted a little in the FD at 4k, 6k, and maybe 5500. Shouldn't have affected much though. I just don't like seeing 13psi on a stock setup. Call me a wuss.

Something is definitely wrong in the FBs top end though.

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for one dyno? Collin and I talked about it, just to see what kind of numbers my 250K stock car still has...

^ur going to love the sound of that exhaust system. had it on my 808. the center section is abit on the heavy side tho. but i guess u already know that. after wrecking it, it all was transfered to the 7 i have now along with the engine. i decided i wanted alittle more sound out of it so i swapped the center section out for one without the presilencers.

That's the same exhaust I have. It does sound great.

Donnie, yes, as long as I remember the next time I'm around the motor.

Looking good Ian! That must be about $1000 worth of exhaust pipes! And is that a brand new trim piece for the center panel? And what else do you have in all those boxes? You aren't cutting any corners, are you! Holly's car even looks pretty good.

Oh boy! Sounds like we might have a couple of new guys out for May. Maybe we will make a run at the record for the number of 12A equivalents. I better bring my calculator. We were really struggling with the fraction to decimal conversion last meet. And, that was before we went in for beer.

It's Looking Good Ian. Tires, Brake Rotors, Driveline, Exhaust, Holley Carb, Manifold, RB Air Intake... even center console panels? Wow... going to be so awesome. I can't wait to see and hear it this weekend. Should be lots of fun.

Now you have to start collecting goodies for "Holly". She is looking bad beside all that bling.

Huh? Is that really your old FD Holly or is that some sort of inside thing I'm unaware of ? Because isn't it a little, eh..., wrecked?

And I bought the bleader-valve thing for my radiator last night. Almost $17 for a stupid little plastic screw and washer. But it's cool, next time I have a bit of spirited driving I wont have to ride around with my heat on to keep the temps down!

So who appreciated the rain we got this weekend? Poor Lanier...
