Well, I wont be there. My sister's birthday dinner tonight with the family. My parents never told me about it...my sister asked me last night if I was coming. I am like, coming to what? LOL. My mom is terrible at planning things.

I think you have witnessed this rotary beautiful beast at the Mitty before. So at least you got to see and hear it wide open.

Ray are you going to make it out tonight, it is right by your work, so you have no excuse. I know it will be hard for you struggling with 3 meetings all within one week.
Thursday, July 29, 2010 - MazMart and RX-792P
Saturday, July 31, 2010 - BBITS (Brett's Bash In The Sticks)
Tuesday, August 3, 2010 - Regular monthly OGTA Meet at Twisted Tavern
Ray you should really make all three meetings, then you will have a personal record.

Ok, I'm going to bring these to Mazmart, but I'm only going to sell through this thread (I'm not going to try to sell stuff at a meet at Mazmart, it just seems wrong) but everything is priced below:
S3 Maroon Steering wheel $15
S4 Shift **** $5
Racing beat flywheel nut wrench $10
79-88 Transmission front and rear seal kit (5-speed) $15
And the kicker:
Racing Beat Street/Strip performance pressure plate that has never been used or even installed on a car regularly $150, can be yours for $100
Also Ray if you attend, bring a bunch of OGTA cards, a meet is a great opportunity to pass them out, also, I'm running low.

Hey Chris, if you no longer need that shift **** I gave you at Zoom Fest last year, I'll be happy to have it back. I gave away my only other spare, which I keep around in case I sell my car.. It sucks hunting around for a reasonably priced S5 shifter so I can use my RX-8 **** so I carry the one I have now over from car to car lol
It is official, I will be at BBITS, and the OGTA meet.
The downside is, I did not get good news this morning...

Nice car!

Holly three rotary meets in a week would be fun but right now it's looking like I may not make any. I'm having some kind of crazy problem with fuel delivery in the Silver One. I've been working on it for a week, rebuilt the carb and had it in and out of the car several times now trying to figure out what's wrong. Here's a link to the "what wrong" post, if anybody has any ideas:

What's wrong Collin?

Anybody got a spare intake manifold gasket for an 84/85 12A I could purchase? I pulled my intake manifold trying to find the source of this fuel problem and the old gasket is a little to weak to reuse.
Also, would a leaky check valve on the fuel return line cause a problem with fuel delivery on acceleration? I just discovered mine is a little leaky, maybe that's my problem?
Thanks
ray

Thanks for the pep talk Dave, after fighting with your car for a week trying to figure out why the thing won't run, it's hard to imagine a bigger nuisance. But yeah have it go up in flames probably would be worse!

Ray, by now you certainly understand that showing up to a meet in a rotary is great, but you can snag the jeep, or Protege and come down too. There are no excuses.
Zach we missed you too. Maybe you can make it to one of the next two meets. Saturday and/or Tuesday, pick one and come out.

Would this be it Tim?
Holly, I may not make the BBITS, but I've hatched a plan to make it to August OGTA. I've got a parts shipment coming in Monday afternoon. If I can get everything back together and snag a little luck, I just might be rolling again by Tuesday.

Ladies and Gents...
According to the Weather.com website, there's going to be a 30-40% chance of rain tomorrow from noon till the evening. If it's alright, we may want to change the drive to, lets say, 1 - 2:30 PM and then cook out after that. Whichever is the best for everyone else, I just wouldn't think we would need to be out in the curves when it's raining. Any suggestions? I'm new to this
As a side note, I got some sweet Continental ContiSportContact 2 Tires mounted all around the FC today. It made the steering much easier, they look good, they were cheap used, and they're pretty grippy. I paid $140 mounted and balanced and they've got around 60% tread, and new they would've been $748 before mounting/ balancing @ Tire Rack. So if they last me 1/4 of the time they would've lasted me new, I'm still doing better than buying them new... Yay for the old guy at the Tire shop in Dahlonega

It is a composite (carbon fiber) race car tub with a Rotary being strapped to the back. It is a "C" sport racer.
