Nice work Tim!

I emailed this guy about the car a few months ago but never heard back. He only lives about 10 miles from my house. I'd be a lot more interested if it was an 84/85 GSL.

RTRx7, come on down, it would be great to meet you and your car.

Hey guys whats up names Ed. more or less im a 2nd gen 13B guy but have a 12A and a couple questions figure might get a better response from you guys. 12A rats nest removed cars runs fine for about 20 to 30 mins then it starts blowing oil up the filler neck goes out the 1st tube closest to the block and blows out the charcoal canister. The 2nd tube on the filler neck is capped off per rats removal instructions if memory serves me correctly. what would make so much pressure to blow all the way up to charcoal canister and its a lot of pressure will blow a constant oil drip/stream depending on rpm. I only have the 1 vacuum line hooked up to the plate coming from the dissy everything else is capped off.. Anybody know what I did wrong HA HA.

Thanks in Advance
ED

Hey Ed, there's supposed to be a vacuum hookup to vent the engine and suck the vapors into the carb to get burned, that's that tube next to the filler neck. Looks something like this.

That's a nice looking FB Alex, looks just like mine, silver with the red leather interior. And if it sells for $3200 I know mine is worth a bit more than that, with lower mileage (120,000) and some upgrades, like the RB exhaust and 2GDFI.

However I'd guess the one in the ad is more likely to go for around $2,000.

He lives in Suwanee, makes me wonder why we've never heard of him.

Silver FB's with Red Leather Interior are a dime a dozen Alex, it's those White Ones you want to jump on.

Brett, that ad says "the right car for the right guy". Might be you! Part number 14 is always a winner.

Three major moving parts that are unique to the rotary and the majority of the parts that you mention are on a rotor...

I guess we need to explain things better for some...

Billy's talking about the things that can go wrong, not the things that can go right.

And yeah, he's a smart ***. Here's his first post, 'course he didn't show up for the meeting:

"Sweet! There have been more first gens in the jeffrey's parking lot than I currently own! That is the fist time I could say that in a LONG time until the last one went away 2 weekends ago. Now just the wide body FB and the repu.

Back on thread target. I will try to get out there tomorrow night. If so, I got a round. Since It looks I may be the young one

Billy you'd better get that REPU on down or you're gonna' loose some creds. An RX-8 will only go so far.

In engineering terms, even if the parts are small and fit into larger parts they are still considered parts. Also, I consider apex seal a pretty major part of a running motor.

Just messing with you by the way.

Brain scan no doubt. That's Crit and Dena's Lake House, we count 12A's there too (Billy bring your ticket).

Collin tell us how the tests go, hope it's not too serious.

Ray, my doctor is thinking it's my gall bladder (stones) causing all of these problems.

Long story short, I have the abdominal pain, the lower back pain, and the pain under my right shoulder associated with stones. Also have the fucked up everything else that goes with it.

The test is a HIDAscan.. I guess they're injecting me with radioactive contrast fluid and I have to lay still for an hour while they take scans and see how it travels throughout my body.

Based on that, they'll know whether or not to pull my G.B. out.. If it isn't my G.B., though.. I don't even know what the **** it might be..

It's a lot of pain. Thinking back, I suppose it's possible I've had silent stones for several years. I've had the pain under my right shoulder blade for a lonnnng time, and my digestive system has been fucked practically forever as well..

Dunno. Just want the pain gone. For now, I have meds.. which help, and I am SO INCREDIBLY ******* EXCITED that I'll be able to go to work tomorrow and make it through a whole shift pain free, without having to sit down cuz everything flippin' hurts, and not look pale as a ghost because I'm in pain all day. YAY!
