Interesting night. I made it like 1 1/2 miles from Road Atlanta's exit and my FC started coughing.. Kept having to knock it down 10mph every few seconds to keep it from dying completely. I talked sweet to Wanda, and she made it onto the exit ramp...and somehow managed to time the light perfectly as it turned green PRECISELY when I got to it.. then she died, and I coasted into the shell station. There was a truck that had been behind me that pulled into the station with me, and I think I found Chris an FC for dirt. *******. Cheap.

I'm really sorry to hear that man. Odd enough, that's exactly what happened with my FC. Did you hit the starter afterwords to check for compression? Yesterday was just a shitty day for FC's...

Crit’s Wankel engine from a drone

I demand a recount. Crit's drone airplane rotary engine has got to be worth at least 1 12A equivalent. Most rotorheads will go through their entire life not see something like this in person.

Holly, take charge of this situation. I am considering sucession, if this atrocity is not rectified.

Brett, I am really sorry to hear about the engine. It seems like you had made a lot of progress on it. Keep the faith. Another 13B will come your way.

Brett, I didn't blow my motor, I just ran out of gas. I guess I should have made that clear...

But yeah my first thought was: Holy ****, she's not gonna make it to 200k

Wanda is fine.

Mike, this isn't Florida. You can't demand a recount!

Thanks Mike, I'm staying positive about it. When I thought about selling it along with all of the RX7 parts I have last night, I think I could get what I've got into everything, but it would be hell to find all of the parts later on down the road for another FC. I've got too much time and detail into it . I'm not even canceling the insurance or registration, just parking it at my uncles for another month or so. The motor swap wasn't really too hard, so I figure once I find another motor I can do 3 days working on it and have it roadworthy again.

You *****, I was thinking 'Damn that just takes the cake right there'... Coasting into a gas station for gas... damn you I say! lol

The same color as my 1st gen, and I had that same strut brace! If I ever get another FB, it'll be 13B powered

"I am considering sucession, if this atrocity is not rectified"

---Dr. Mike Simonovich

That's "secession" Mike, SECESSION. As in "the Civil War began when a few southern state SECEDED from the Union".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confede...tes_of_America

Sucession is what happens when you inherit your best friend's girl friend.

As far as the drone Wankel goes, if Crit can get it running in the Jefferies parking lot it should qualify for a full 12A equivalent.

Looks like you're right Alex, seems to be a dead link. I wonder if Mazdameets went out of business?

I was messing around the other day on the web server and screwed it up. My mistake. I fixed it.

What's the nonsense about needing to replace the cat?

I may think on that one, but I don't really have the room.

Finally! So, after all this time, the FB should be back to good, with the exception of the fender damage.
