Billy, if this dosen't workout with Crit, let me know. I know there is one in the Gray Ghost, but you will have to tell me where it is in the dash.

Ray its only strange if you open the hood, otherwise it looks as stock as one of your cars.

i hate that friggin relay i have seen so many of them fail for no reason i usually wire around it. Billy are you needing some extra lower control arms? BTW Holly as an honorary member of the OGTA crew you missed my birthday the 31st of March and I was the big 40

I did jumper it to get the car running but wanted to replace it for the new owner.

These arms I am speaking of are some we pass around for bushing replacement. The idea is you can start the swap project with urethane bushings already installed in some lower arms and then swap them in quick. Then you just remove the old bushings from the old arms at your leisure - to have them ready for the next guy to swap.

April 6, 2010 OGTA Meeting Report and Photos

A clear sunny day, dropping down to about 80 degrees F at 6:00 pm, with the first arrivals. Several new folks and a nice collection of cars. Total 12A equivalent count was 20.08, not a record but close (the current record is 21 12A equivalents, set on a regular Tuesday evening meeting last summer).

Zach took several professional quality photos with his professional quality camera and he will post the good stuff later on.

For now, here’s the 12A count:

3 SA’s = 4.5 12A’s (Andy the Elder, Andy the Younger, Gene)
1 SE = 1 12A (Alex)
6 FB’s = 6 12’s (Ben, Juno, Geraldo, Mike, Ray, Dean)
4 FC’s = 2 12A’s (Kristy, Zach, Ricky, Chris)
1 FD = 0.33 12A’s (Dan)
2 RX8’s = 0.25 12A’s (Holly, Alan)
1 RX2 = 2 12A’s (Billy)
1 RX3 = 2 12A’s (Jeremy)
1 REPU = 2 12A’s (Crit)
4 Boingers = 0 12A’s (Collin and Brett’s MaxiPads, Tim’s Lotus and New Guys Irvin and Penny’s 3rd gen Miata)

Alex I caught your omission during editing (us Old Guys always edit).

And I always did have problems figuring out those 2's and 3's, but are you sure I got it wrong? Billy, Jeremy, can you confirm?

Any more errors? Holly, Crit, can you check the math? I already did it three times and got three different numbers, so I settled for the last one.

Or better yet, anybody got any more pictures??? I missed a bunch of really good ones this time.

Great meet Dudes and Dudesses, it just keeps getting interestinger and interestinger.

Yep, that sure does look a lot like an RX-2. But then if you look closely at Holly's car it says RX-9, so what can you believe?

Ray, there were several people/cars that showed up after you left. Cory made it in Gene's Tender Blue Metallic FB and Holly had a friend come in late. I am not sure what he was driving. We may have a new recorod.

And no more of this leaving early before the beer, hmm - I mean business meeting.

No need for plug wires when the car runs on hopes and dreams

Nice meet guys, great turnout. Sorry I couldnt make it, traffic is bad and I live in the opposite side of town. Besides, my rx-3 was suppose to be done, but it is very close now, it will definitely be @ DGRRX. Until then...

"No need for plug wires when the car runs on hopes and dreams"

Next thing you know he'll be laying hands on Nikki's and I'll be out of a job.

Mike I'm not sure if late shows count toward the official 12A count. You'll have to submit a request for consideration to the OGTA Remediation Committee, with a full report detailing cars, drivers, reasons for late arrival and a worksheet indicating the revised 12A statistics.

Zach, we'd love to see your pictures!
