RNN Exclusive: Jeffery's Parking Lot Record Smashed!
Suwanee, GA (RNN) - Last night the long standing World Record for the Most 1st Gens in Jeffery's Parking Lot of 3.5 was shattered by the sudden appearance of a previously unimagined number (6.5) of exceptionally maintained 1st Gen RX-7s in The Lot. An early photo just in from our field correspondent:
The feat appears to have been the work of the Old Guys with 12As Club out of Georgia. Watch Rotary News Network for updates on this Breaking Story.

Haha, I ended up putting more miles goin to this meet and back than since I got the car running! I think it got about 450 miles on it. I averaged a little over 15mpg, from the time I entered Georgia (highway miles), Running amuck with Ray to his place (terrorized backroads), and a few more highway miles.
Not bad I think.
Picture time!
Random Timer Pic:
Ray's engine bay. We almost had dinner on it!

Hey, had a good time, despite the fact I was the only 2nd gen. Everyone was cool and I will see yall next time. So who got elected to pay for Jeezus's plane ticket for next month?

for a good time....
I think I had a good time? Who's the Treasurer?
What's the job pay anyway?
Nice pic.s, especially the flick, It might be fun to do that again in daylight and try to keep up with Ray. Perhaps the chase car should have a camera man? A shot of the licenses plate would be cool.
I think I need professional help. I've decided to wimp out and take my EPA problem to John Grise at the Great Mall dealership. Am I the only one who cares about the environment? No, not really, I just happen to live in Gwinnett County.
Mike, who was the guy with the shop manuals online?

In keeping with what are great leader Ray stated earlier in this thread. We meet the 1st Tuesday of every month.
Ray do you think we can keep this up? How about we go for a goal of meeting 12 months in a row. That is a record we can break.
So next meeting will be TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, 2007.

Not a record Holly, Mike and I have been meeting twelve months in a row for the last four years. But you are right on the date of the next meeting, Oct 2, 2007, 7:00 PM. Mike and I will be there, for sure. Can anybody use some brown carpets and a nice brown headliner?

Crit,
Good to hear from you. Of course you are welcome. Ray will have to do the math to figure out exactly how much an RX-2 with a carbed 13B is worth in the official car count, but he has a whole month to figure it out. We can always count on Ray to come up with an answer. I guess that's why he is a college prof.

As El Presidente, I would say yes. Ray said I could say in with a 1st gen body style and a 13b motor. I think that one of the main requirements is 1st gen. We let ABCDEfb sit with us even though he has a 2nd gen.

Don't go changing us Crit. Just conform. Everyone in the club don't meet the qualifications. At least a group of more than 2 has come out for 2 months in a row.

Mike keeps threatening to get a 13B, but I'll see it when I believe it.
Holly, the note about the name change is from James, our Club Ambassador, not Crit. Sounds like James is thinking about trading in his 2nd gen for a real car!
James and Crit both have 13Bs in their cars and RX-2's in their avatars, so I can see why it would be confusing. But Crit's the guy who used to have that fantastic black 1st gen before he traded up for the RX-2. Check out this page for pictures of Crit and other Old Guys with 12As from the early days:

PS, I counted up the cars in that post and it looks like there were 4 1st gens, 1 second gen (is that James when he was a youngster?) and 2 third gens.
That would be 4 + 1/2 + 3(1/3) = ??.
I am lousy at fractions, can anyone add that up for us? I don't think it beats the 6.5 1st gens we had the other day.

Sorry James, that I thought your post was from Crit.
