I didn't see them in the Ft. Yargo thread in the old school section. Where'd you find them?

I stand corrected. Your pictures are every bit as compelling as Greg's. Although I did just happen to notice there is significantly less clothing in the picture Greg posted.

Go Greg!

Mike I picked that hood ornament up in New Orleans.

This guy is welcome at the OGTA meets anytime:

Hey Dudes and Dudesses, we are closing in on 300,000 views, only 120 to go, which should happen today. Also we are just 66 posts away from topping 10,000 posts, which means RX-7club will have to reformat their page outlay to make a larger column just for us. Also, we are just two pages away from page 400 on this post. Nice work!

Guess who finally finished Jim's convertible? Yours truly... I got the injectors cleaned and installed Thursday evening, found a leak Friday morning, took off the upper intake again this morning, and replaced all fuel/ coolant/ vacuum lines under there with new ones (fuel lines are expensive, good lord). Then I fixed the drivers side exterior door handle so it opens from the both inside and outside, fixed the clock on the dash, and found the fuse that was making the radio and door lights not work. Hopefully the hard starting after a few days of sitting is gone now.

AND, I got the doors, fender, front bumper, and LSD rear end off of my other shell, too. Someone's picking that up tomorrow to haul off. Productive day if I do say so myself

And now we're 65 posts from 10,000. Can't we make it into the Guinness book of records now or something?

200.00 various old school that Dave Meditz has in his collection of over 100 rotaries, and for taking time out of his R&R leave to stop by Atlanta and meet with us.
Total 12-A equivalents is 209.0 That is a record.

It was great to meet Dave, his wife and two daughters. They are an awesome rotary family, especially for hanging out with us for hours out of their precious family time. The Meditz's are welcome to hang out with us anytime you come through Atlanta. I hope you had a great tour of Downing/Atlanta the next day, and safe travels home to TX. Come back to visit us anytime.

Ben, Ray, Anyone..........Looking for a 83-85 inner and outer steering column (for manual steering) for a customer. Normally these are still attached to the steering box. steering box condition does not matter. I would like to purchase one.

Thanks,

Weather is starting to finally shape up. We should probably think about a drive sometime. Brother and I went up to the mountains yesterday. Roads are decent, except 180 still has a lot of gravel on it (so anyone who might go up there, be careful). Met up with some other folks afterwards.

Now I need a windshield chip repair place .

I've been thinking about a mountain drive myself. I'm getting my own place in May in Dahlonega, and I was thinking we could have a small meet there before/ after a mountain drive. We've got plenty of parking in the yard Plus it's right by the start/ stop points on that route Mike Simonovich and I have mapped out. But if my FC isn't finished by then, someone's got to let me ride shotgun with them!

Here's the pic of the FC going bye bye, Ray.

Since the guy was going to scrap it, we loaded him up with all kinds of junk around my uncles place. An old Buick hood, 2 push-mowers, an old microwave, random car parts...

Went to the Corvette club show at Gwinnett Place Hooters on Sunday.
Turnout sucked because of the weather.
But I did see another possible look for the REPU.....

Here's a video of the widebody I took at one of Crit's Lake House meetings. It's not very long.

Speaking of Corvettes, on my way down to Clark-Altanta on Friday I saw an old vintage corvette from the '50's, one of the early ones with the dual headlights sticking out on torpedo pods out on I85, this model or maybe even a bit earlier:

Aren't those things extremely rare? This one was not restored, old black paint and some of the chrome missing, but the body looked to be in great shape. It looked like it was being used as a daily driver by the guy, who was maybe in his fifty's, on the way to the grocery. I wonder if he knows what he's got?
