Made it home safe, car drives fine, clutch slips a bit, but we abused it a little trying to unlock the wheels when all 4 brakes seized. When I get the new clutch from Kevin, that should be solved. some sort of noise that is hard to describe comes from the rear, but I'll try and pin that down, and the transmission makes a high pitched almost whistle sounding noise under load unless I hold onto the shifter, so there is some harmonic vibration travelling through metal somewhere. Also the exhaust is very loud (see Ray's vid when the brakes were still locked and the car was being forced driven) without the plug, so I'll have to hunt that down/ All in all, SP II is a success, and hopefully, she will make it to her first OGTA (first as this car, not first time the chassis OR motor has been there, but the first time they have been bolted together at an OGTA).

The "long haired kid" with Gene (the one with purple hair, last Sunday at least) is Cory, keeper of an SA(SE)

Mike, you need to find a job that's closer to Jeffery's.
Tim, even you couldn't afford the gas and insurance on that car, much less the purchase price. Besides, it's probably impossible to work on or find parts, which takes all the fun out of it.
Makes nice wall paper though

If you've got your tool set, Chris, I've got a plug for your exhaust - just not sure what size wrench you'll need.
While I don't recall Ray performing the "laying of hands" ceremony on the REPU, its self-healing powers are coming on strong. The dash lights are working full time, and the interior dome light even works!

I did it while you weren't looking Crit, I know you don't believe in that supernatural stuff.
Looking forward to meeting Russ I, or Russ the Elder, his pick. Sure hope he has a 12A to admire.
Crit, I've got about 300 lbs. of floor jacks and jack stands in my driveway which I believe are yours. Should I stuff them in the Silver One and bring them along?

The plan was that Chris would bring them by. If you can swing by my house before or after the meet, then that'll work out fine. I just can't put them in the REPU.
On second thought, maybe in the cab. If you want to bring them tomorrow night, I'm sure we can find a ride home for them, one way or another.

Crit, what's wrong with your bed? I've never heard you to have a bed problem before. Look at it this way, if it fits in my hatch it will fit in your cab.
Chris couldn't get that stuff in SPII because it was already filled to the gills with interior parts and tools and he already couldn't see out the back. Not to mention what 300 lb. would have done to his clutch.
