Need help from the Dellorto folks (Chris, Crit, etc).
Chris gave me some 77 idle jets to replace the RB 75s. They work great to significantly reduce the off-on throttle stumble at low rpm.
But, now my idle is just under 2000 and the throttle stop/idle adjustment screw is backed out so far it is not touching.
How do I get my idle back down?
Thanks

Ray, your mojo made it up here My 12A pooped it's top radiator seam after a drive. I guess it was nice enough to wait until it returned home first. The trip may not get made. I am searching for a radiator now.

Shoot Dave, if I can have it ready for Saturday, you can have it ready for Saturday. Here's where I'm at at 4:30 Friday afternoon, car hasn't started in more than two years.
Engine bay
OMP installation
Bee Hive installation
Front brake calipers and lines
Hey Greg the Elder and Greg the Younger, why don't you guys head out to Lake Hartwell tomorrow?

I believe that I need the short one as I have the opil cooler that is below it instead of the beehive. Thanks though. I am trying to grab one in the morning at 8 or so and try to make it work and come down. But it is looking doubtfull . As the FC has a bad weel bearing and can't make the long trip, the FD I am diddling with and it is apart. So The FB had been my focus for a couple weeks to get it ready. Then with less than 12 hours to go it fought back. So I am keeping my fingures crossed.

Nice Ray! That reminds me- my car doesn't have a undertray... Happen to have a spare?
I wish I could've made it to the meet today. Work stunk, we were well overstaffed, the new cook thinks he's better than everyone and treats us servers like his bitches, and I didn't make over $20 total for 5 hours... Time for another job.
On a positive note, I did some things to the FB that I'll build suspense with- I'll have pictures of them soon!

Gee Dave, I didn't realize you needed to pull the engine and tranny to redo the radiator, I'll have to do that today. I can see why you didn't make it down yesterday. Looking good, keep up updated!
Brett you can make $10 an hour over here helping me put a goat fence in! I might have another one of those pans, I don't recall if the Silver One came with one or not and what the status on the other two is. Quit with the suspense already, post the pics!
A lot of people getting greasy lately but at least we're seeing a whole lot of commitment to keeping the FBs on the road, I've never seen so many new ones come on line in such a short period of time.

Does the main harness that comes thru the drivers side firewall seperate anywhere that is convinient for removal? Or do I feed the 20 feet of enginebay harness back thru the whole to remove it? The bay is almost completly stripped other than that harness. Ready for cleaning and sanding

Hey Michael- if Ray doesn't have one and I can't get one local I'll give you a call. Sorry I missed yours, I was showering and never even heard the phone. Was that undertray what you were calliing about?\\
I get my memory cards back for the camera along with the other half of pictures from ZF that my computer wouldn't load, so I'll be putting up a lot.

Now Brett's a real man, no AC! And fully qualified for pounding T posts (I was going to do that job a bit later, maybe late September, when it's a little cooler). Brett don't worry about the timing but it would be a great favor to get help with that fence!
I did locate one spare engine tray, will need paint to look like mine but in good shape. If Michael can help out it looks like we've got both Brett and Greg the Younger covered.
Hey Holly, can you post pics of Crit's Lake House Event for those of us with 12As on stilts?
Dave that main harness runs through the fire wall and keeps going for about 20 miles in both directions. If you want to remove it you will have to pull it back into the cabin (but why? The main harness has some important connections in it). When I did my engine bay I just worked around it.

Brett and Michael, I am going to try to get my AC working better and I'll probably need a compressor (or 2). I'm sure I'll need other stuff also. Anything you could spare would be appreciated.

I'm stubborn and don't like things in my way. I pulled it back thru the wall as I saw it was one big snake. Now for the steering box and shaft and everything will be out.
