Zoom Fest was great. Thank you to Billy, Crit, Donnie and others who did all the hard work of putting this together. I can't wait to see some of the pics and hear some of the stories.
Billy, next year we need to get a photographer for the parade laps. I think you are on to something with ZF. I bet next year will be even bigger and better.

Yes I am. PM me with questions on whatever you want to paint. Like Chad said, Prep is what it is all about. Some saw my exterior paintwork on my Girls CYM FC at zoomfest. Doing the plastic to satin black from SEM. They make nice paint products. Plastic and vinyl paints for interior.

Yeah I saw and spoke with Crit about painting his REPU for them. I got a good mental picture of the project. Just let me know when you want to do it. No worries.
Thanks for a great event as well.I think I may be picking up another 1 Gen and making a IT 7 car,.. maybe.( a 2 year project probably)

hey billy and guys who know some of the mods here, i was wondering if y'all could help me out with something. i bought a strut brace for $50 from a mod on here it had to be at least as far back as january if not not december. a few weeks later, he said he had sent it and it hadnt come yet so i checked on the thread of his parts for sale where i found it and everyone else was complaining that they hadnt gotten their parts. there were 2 or 3 whole pages of complaints and noone had seen him on the club in weeks so they were freaking out and wondering if he had just taken all our money and left, so another mod got online and said they were gonna close the thread until they found out what happened to him so noone else could post and ask where he was after that. a few months later, when icemark died, i saw him posting on the farewell icemark thread so i emailed him and asked him what was up with my item and he told me that he had had a family emergency and forgot all about my strut brace but he would find it and send it shortly. it never arrived. so i emailed him again and he wont respond now. it's now at least 7 months later. i got online and found his for sale thread from months back about 2 days ago and all the complaints against him were deleted... there were only about 6 or 7 of the original replies on the thread of people asking questions about his parts for sale but no evidence that anyone like me had ever paid him for stuff so i pm'd him AGAIN asking him what i'm gonna have to do to get my part from him and no reply. i checked online today to find the date of the post so i could tell you guys how long ago this was, and the entire thread is deleted, he has changed his avatar again since the other day and he has NOT replied to me pm. with as bad as this is, i wouldnt be surprised if hedeletes this post, but i need to know what i can do to at least get my 50 dollars back. i paid with paypal... that should at least count for something right? anyone that can help me out please... i hate getting scammed. especially by a mod. thanks guys

Ben,
Hit me up. I'll help you out. I'm a mod in the 1st gen area and for all classifieds..plus an OGTA member from afar. I have an idea of who/what you are talking about, but pm me the info (name of person, date, link to ad (if you have it)) and I'll follow up for you.
Kent
Edit: I did a search and I was correct in who I was thinking. I was hoping that he had taken care of this stuff. I will shoot him a pm on your behalf.

You need to email paypal with the transaction id # & let them know. If that does not work call paypal and they will help you. I had a similar situation and I got refunded.

Ben,
What happened to the old days of a good *** whooping!
People now a days can get away with murder. I dont stand for any of that crap.
I would get with paypal and run it thru them. I also would get as much personal info as you can and you would be amazed what you can get off the net. You can file a complaint with the internet fraud division and they can prosecute. Also you can file a complaint with your local PD.
There are several ways, you have to be creative.
I was tracking a guy a while back that tried to screw me out of 2k and after finding him one on several other forums and getting his personal info we tracked him down to a base in another state. We called the MP's and file with them as well as local PD, the credit card company, paypal, internet fraud, and a few others. Last I heard since he was in the military and we had 3 cases against him that he finally had met his match by messing with a few rotary peeps. Cant say much more but think outside of the box and get creative. When you find out who they are, where they live, where they work, etc most of the time the pressure is on and they pay up.

So uh, Ben...what's with Juno and you defacing Brett's OGTA sign with some rude alterations? I mean...it's great that y'all find that appropriate and whatnot, but this isn't highschool and you should act accordingly with a little more respect than that.
Just sayin'...
Billy, you're getting a PM shortly about some ideas for next year!!

We're not the ones that changed the 'u' in 'guys' to an 'a' so don't be ready to jump on your nearest high horse just because you assume that we did that. But if you mean that "Old Juno's with 12As is rude, then my bad, I'll make you a new banner. Gahh, quit being such a girl. =P -juno

Anyone care to step up and admit to swapping the U out for an A? C'mon, you can do it! I promise I won't bite...

Down boy. Seeings as we had approx. 70 folks at ZF and maybe 20 guys in this thread, odds are that the offender isn't even reading any of this.
To be honest, I never even noticed.
