I forgot about that, Mike. I'll likely take the car up on Friday, but I can caravan in the REPU on Saturday morning. If we do it, we need to meet at CB around 7 as it would be quite beneficial if we're the first to process through registration. If 7am is too early, then I'll go in early and just see you guys when you come in.
Y'all don't forget to bring folding chairs, sunscreen, bug repellant, etc. Those staying for the PDX on Sunday will also need a full tank of gas, helmet, long shirt, long pants, and shoes without open toes.

Ray, you have no excuse. You probably live the closest to RA. I do realize that your morning beautification process takes some time, but you do manage to get to work before rush hour. So, I know you can make it to CB by 7:00.
What do you guys say? Cracker Barrel at 7:00.

Well guys,m I got the new needle and seat on. Man does the car perform better at higher RPM and between high to low RPM gear changes. It also runs cooler and it shoots more fire. My Rx-7 is better in every way lol (I like the fireballs).

You guys have no sense of humor. Or respect for your elders.
Mike, I was joking, 7:00 is fine, I'll be there (reminds me of a Michael Jackson song).
Remember: I'm the one whose usually passing by you guy's houses every morning on my way to work before you got your asses out of bed!

Oh come on you guys. 7AM is not too early. We can meet at Cracker Barrel at 7:00, have breakfast, and be at the track around 8:00. This would put us right in the middle of the peak Zoom Fest registration. We could see Holly dealing with thousands (well, maybe 10) rabid Mazda enthusiasts as we converge on Road Atlanta. Besides, it would be a lot of fun to drive in en masse.

If we meet up with the Xroaders, that means meeting for breakfast at 8 with a dozen people that all need to register by 9. That sounds like asking for trouble.

Hi Ray, do you know someone that would give my '79 rx7 "s" a good home? I put ET slotted mags on it from the start and refitted the interior from black vinyl to tan cloth seats and carpet. 12a installed by Mazda has 64,000 miles the rest has 114,000 miles. It hesitates and really should be a proficient carb guy that buys it - I'm thru pretending I can solve it! Thanks so much, Mike 763 784-7458 $2500

HUUUUGE progress on Karl's Rx-7. All brakes are done, but his car was barely idling before. Well we fixed numerous fuel leaks with all new fuel line and a new fuel filter, replaced a TON of home made duct tape vacuum caps with good real caps. Lastly, and most importantly. Karls car was running with the trailing coil hooked into his leading plugs and his leading coil feeding the trailing plugs with no vacuum advances hooked up! It's a miracle that the car ran at all before, but this solved a TON of issues. ONe of the rear calipers is siezed and getting replaced tomorrow morning and after that his car should be in nearly perfect mechanical condition. Nearly everything we've fixed was human error by a previous owner. The crankcase vent was hooked up to the sub zero start thingy, the fuel pump is a cheap aftermarket "5 to 9 psi electric unit". We want to get a good Holly pump and regulator for when Karl gets a Sterling.

Does everyone have their car ready for ZF? SCCA will ask the PDXers if their brakes have been bled in the last 90 days. No reason to lie - y'all just do it. Check your tire pressures, throw some oil and antifreeze in the back just in case, and get ready for a good weekend.

Stu, what time are you guys planning to be at RA? If you are going to be at the RA exit (Hwy 53 exit) around 7:30, we could all meet at in the Cracker Barrel parking area and drive into RA together. Cracker Barrel has a big parking lot with long drive way/street that we can use to get lined up.
Crit, do you think this will work?
