And when you refer to border jumpers, are you singleing out Mexicans? Or do you include all the illegal Germans, Polls, Sweeds, Canadians,Russians, Saudi Arabian, Australian to name a few, and definetly can't forget all the illegal Jews in the country...More of them than anyother. intrresting how noone is trying to kick all the other illegals out.

Well I dunno Dave, over here in Georgia the ARE trying to kick the Jews out (and Mexicans). And over in Mississippi they're still trying to kick everyone out that's not white. It's a shame, these "border hoppers" are such nice people if folks would just take a moment to get to know them. They are also smart, good looking and hard workering, but maybe that's part of the problem, nobody likes competition when it comes to jobs, jokes and women.
And Dave, go easy on the Confederates, they lost the war but they also have a lot of pride and tradition, which makes change come slowly. But it is coming. 'Cept Texas of course, which is talking about secession again.
Anyway, the way things will change is by welcoming all folks from all places, including New Mexico. From the descriptions in his sig, it sounds like R.O.D. is probably Aztec or some other native blood, so that's probably why he wants to get rid of us border hoppers.

I'm guessing that because of the "Apexi avcr, Apexi Neo,Rtek2.1, 2.5"fmic,ACT stg4" stuff in the sig and the fact that he drives FC's.
Welcome R.O.D.!
Incidentally, concerning driving habits, I've always been impressed with our Georgia drivers out there on 85. They are reasonably safe and courteous (I know Crit, except me) and they are really good at keeping the traffic moving even when it's pretty heavy. Way better than Boston, New Orleans and LA, in my opinion.
Collin I teach pharmacy students at the Mercer University Atlanta campus, currently my courses are Biochemsitry, Infectious Disease, Microbiology and Immunology and Methods in Cell and Molecular Biology. I also do laboratory research on chromatin structure and function and foundational methods in gene therapy and DNA vaccines.

Yeah NC is 20th for driving and Pennsylvania should have been 51st.
See I knew we were better drivers than you guys.
I embrace our newly, legal, immgrants from all over. I just don't want to
payout my taxes to illegals (of any nationality). Your right Dave, we are all
products of immigration. I know I am but it was legal and documented.
I'll tell you what, try to be an illegal immigrant in any European country for
more than a year while making a living. Won't happen.
They'll kick you out faster than Ray can id a cell structure.

Dave, I can tell you that I don't mind immigrants a bit, and recognize exactly what you're saying. I think when Kevin talks about border jumpers, though, he's talking about the immigrants WITHOUT SSNs and without a tax burden. My ancestors came through Ellis Island and did it right. More often than not, the folks I see around here don't fit that description. Every time you see a line at the check cashing store or Friday afternoon at the gas station that cashes checks, you're looking at a line of people without bank accounts, because they have no SSN, because they shouldn't be here.

Jeeez, I'm so naive, of course I agree with Crit, Tim, Kevin et al, ILLEGAL immigrants need to clean up their act and we should help in anyway we can, including popping their butts in jail (Jefferson's finest just caught three of them breaking into a neighbors house this week!).
I was just assuming that everybody was doing legal stuff, including all immigrants and even most of us OGTA folk. People who aren't, including illegal border jumpers, are CRIMINALS (not Mexicans, Muslims, Republicans, etc) and should be prosecuted under the full extent of the law.
Let's start with Gitmo.
Michael save your bucks for Zoomfest, it's just around the corner and you can stay all weekend (make your arrangements with the dependents NOW). If necessary OGTA can start a GET MICHAEL TO ZOOMFEST fund.

Someone in the greater OGTA area needs to pick this truck up.

76 REPU for Sale, Lawrenceville, GA
I am selling my 1976 Rotary Pickup. It in very good shape. Aside from a couple bubbles in the paint, the only real rust is in the driver floorboard.
The interior is original, and as such is far from perfect, but overall it is very presentable. There are no rips in the seat, all glass is perfect.
The engine was replaced in 1998 with a Hayes Rotary engine at 123,430 miles. The truck now has 129,929 miles, so it has been driven very little since the engine replacement. I have all the paperwork and receipts from the original owner to show this. It has the Racing Beat Holley 4bbl kit, and a racing beat exhaust. The only think mechanically wrong with it is the pedal will not release the clutch. It freely moves between gears when the engine is not running – the fork may have broken, it’s probably an easy fix but I have not looked into it.
I bought the truck over two years ago from a man in NC. The truck had been in his family for years. He had a back injury and could no longer work on cars, so when the clutch stopped releasing, he put it up for sale. I have always been into rotaries, and bought it knowing about the clutch problem and had big plans for it. Soon after that my marriage ended in divorce, and I changed jobs, so I never found time to work on it. It has been sitting ever since, in the exact state that I bought it in. It starts and runs, but since it has been sitting so long, it needs some freshening. This will make someone a very cool truck with very little investment to bring it to top-notch. I would love to keep it for myself, but I am changing jobs again, will be moving soon, and I don’t see having the time to appreciate it in the short term. I have a stack of receipts from the original owner I can scan if you want, and a bunch of additional pictures. I would like $3000, but I will entertain *reasonable* offers or possibly a trade for a fun daily driver – I sold my last RX7 a few months ago and would consider one in trade as long as it’s in good shape and very reliable – or let me know what you have. I might consider transporting it in the GA, AL, FL area for a fee. Send me an email, I will send more pictures and info and we can talk.

Kent,
I'm not sure if I do or not. Billy's got a good line on some of them, but not sure if he's got both. I've got a NOS still-in-the-bag FB battery tiedown assembly for you, too. PM me your phone number and address, and we'll talk.
Ray, I just noticed that the REPU's even got the original alternator with no voltage regulation, and the original rotor housings. You can see the funky italicized script of the MAZDA logo. Very cool. Seriously, this is a short-cab truck so it's a no-go with me, but this REPU NEEDS to be in the OGTA.

Actually, Collin with 2 l's has a silver FC S4 and Miata. That's the Collin I was aiming at. Colin with 1 l has a black FC S5.
If either of them want the REPU, though, I'll happily support their decision.
And unfortunately, Crit has no room to support another project, and the wife's demanding new kitchen appliances.
