Haha FC3S_nataku, when are we going to get together? You should help me with my exhaust manifold gasket

...so what side of town is everyone on? if we were to have a meet and eat where would be best have it.

I'm in Ponte Vedra Beach but I don't mind driving a little ways.

MIDNFauciUSN 02-17-13 01:03 PM

Arlington... so I vote...... ARLINGTON. :)

AGreen 02-17-13 02:21 PM

I vote for my place... St. Marys GA. Drive bitches.

MIDNFauciUSN 02-17-13 02:46 PM

hows the engine coming along?

AGreen 02-17-13 03:11 PM

Just waiting on parts. If anyone has carbide burrs and a streetport template I'll port it for him. Otherwise, it's just sitting in a bunch of boxes right now awaiting goodies :)

raksj04 02-17-13 03:32 PM

I was wondering if there is a port setup that would yield more power but not hurt the mpg as much.

AGreen 02-17-13 03:39 PM

Of those two, you can pick one. I think the best compromise is a stock ported high compression 4-port turbo. You get the fuel efficiency of an NA, since the higher compression ratio yields more complete combustion when cruising and light scooting around town. The only compromise is that you have to soak it down with fuel and retard timing under boost, but you'll spool the turbo faster and make more power while you're at it.

ondabirdhouse 02-17-13 07:55 PM

Mazwar...never seen you here. What kind of car do you have? Mods?

raksj04 02-17-13 07:57 PM

I was told just porting the exhaust would be ok

Ruler_Mark 02-17-13 08:09 PM

don't know where else to post this but if you need some FD body panels...

Mazda Rx7 1993 Parts car, front clip or rear clip available

Not mine but came across it

Green Lantern 02-18-13 10:38 AM

I certainly dont mind driving to a meet
I'm in east arlington

MIDNFauciUSN 02-18-13 11:42 AM

I think somewhere by the airport is a good compromise between GA, and the folks at the beach.

Cool cool, mazwar.

I was very productive today. My Cosmo fuel rail came in on Saturday so just installed it and a few other things. Looks good.

Anyone up for a meet this coming Saturday morning? Up by the airport?

ondabirdhouse 02-18-13 10:33 PM

Sure, where are you thinking?

MIDNFauciUSN 02-18-13 11:06 PM

Cracker Barrel? Theres a Panera too... but in any case that shopping center should be good.

Green Lantern 02-19-13 09:29 AM

Why not Dames Point park or Hugenot/Little Talbot island, or Ft Clinch in Fernandina
lot nicer spots.....

I would like to go to a meet for sure. I'll be leaving Sunday for two months for work and it's a long time since I've been out.
